Great sound. Wish I could tell what synth you used for it.

The only thing I'm missing is that it feels like there could be more low end in the bass sweeps.

enjoyable track, like the bass, though it could use some sub meat to it. It would be useful to put the synth info in the description on SC here. the white color is nice to me for some reason :)

"[~] marks a stunning new beginning for French artist Nil Hartman. The record combines a warm sense of improvisation with a sleek computer music aesthetic.

Hartman created [~] through livecoding, an approach using text commands in a programming language to compose and perform music in realtime. What you hear on the record is raw, unedited, one-take recordings. Hartman explains: “These versions are unique, I’ll never be able (or willing!) to play them identically.” The astonishing result is not only a technical tour-de-force but a profoundly emotional journey.

The French artist previously enjoyed early success touring Europe festivals with melody-driven club bangers. Following a complete overhaul of his studio craft through a decade of secluded experiments, he now emerges with a deeply personal approach to electronic music.

[~] was recorded live on July 12th and July 30th, 2020. All tracks arranged and performed in realtime using algorithmic langage Tidal Cycle. All sounds generated in realtime using various types of synthesis. The record was mixed and mastered by the artist.

For this OSC Any Synth Challenge, I chose the PS-3300, a beautiful software emulation of a late 1970s analogue polyphonic synthesizer from KORG. Cherry Audio developed this soft synth. Every sound you hear was created using the PS-3300. I tried to create an overall sound that matches the capabilities of a studio production in 1978. This is in honour of this beautiful synthesizer and its creators.

My Submission for August 2025 OSC. 7 Tracks, powered by FLStudio and Quilcomm's Trout. Maximus for loudness.

Based on various incarnations of the Trautonium - a Synth Design originating in the 1930's. I chose Trout because I've wanted to try my hand as something very old and very strange with the plugin. And oh my - it's strange.

Cover is AI generated this time - Colors and some things fixed/added afterwards. My blender skills aren't THAT good. 

Early synths defined some of the sounds and vibes that powered Science Fiction, so I went with something that evoked a dangerous and strange job in space. Enjoy!

In 2019, two Sydney siders came together with a shared passion for heavy, bassline driven house music. Over the course of 12 months, countless hours of experimentation in the studio brought Interupt to life. Their sound is characterised by a fusion of catchy melodies and hard-hitting basslines; a style that's quickly gaining traction.

Their bootleg refresh of the classic dance anthem, “Show Me Love”, has racked up over 100,000 plays alone. After releasing their first track with international label Crucast, they gained support from international artists, including Skepsis, TS7 & Notion.
