Super not-secret summer business from the Lobster family. Four luscious, beach-coasting, jet-skiing tracks inspired by the soul of Detroit via Manchester producer Hidden Spheres.

Vocal tracks that undulate with 'mmm's and 'uuuh's for the real deal summer feel. Sweeping Rhode lines, organic percussion to make the thumbs raw and those deep, woofing basses that just keep on giving.

Moodcut joins the Mörk clan with a long-awaited followup to his stunning debut on Nous, this time treading even deeper murkier water with the shrouded atmospheres of Heart Beat Takeaway. 

Dust-soaked and fizzing with effervescent residue, these five tracks swerve and dive between subtle synth texturisations and deep-sleeping sullen house. The boundaries between ambient and house often merging in the depths of the warm, throbbing, analogue fuzz. 

Layered with endless murk and imagination-baiting track titles, this is one for the lonely night bus and a dredging companion for long walks on monochrome, barely-lit city streets.

Alessandro Adriani runs the esteemed Mannequin label and mailorder, Italian by blood, Berlin by location. Starting out sometime during the C-B-S days (if memory serves correct), Mannequin specializes, but in no way is limited to, unearthing lost gems from the Italian wave/synth/industrial scene. Making noise with releases such as Danza Meccanica Italian synth wave 1982-1987, Der Zeltweg Italian Tapes Industrial Music 82-84, L.a.s.'s Crime, Musumeci, Decadance, 2+2=5, and Tommy De Chirico, we also see a strong NYC connection with the label. Mannequin through the years has released contemporary artists Led er Est, Martial Canterel and NY favorites, Dust. With each with release the label catalog goes deeper and deeper reaching the edges of the unknown.
Here we have the label boss doing a way out there mix of wrong speed trance and hardcore...something of an updated Baldelli maybe...check it out and check your mind at the door.

What induces an artist to keep his or her work under tight wraps? As for Fred Kreeger, this is possibly owing to sheer obsession with perfection. The musician, who comes from near Salzburg, has set his sight on finding the analogue truth, the sincerity of sound and impact of electronic club music. This is expressed on his debut album “Für Wahr” in a magically emotional manner. Analogue 4-to-the-floor kicks amidst drab techno, subtle layers and house music bordering on pop music.
“Für Wahr” is a journey through imperfect perfection. In a minimalist manner and at the same time with loving attention to detail this debut album achieves what only few club albums are capable of doing: surprising over and over again even after repeated listening.

NDR dropping its first release on wax with an EP by Swedish producer Mattias Fridell, who's been at the forefront of his country's techno scene since the 1990s. He gets joined by his fellow countryman Evigt Mörker, delivering a driving but subtle remix of his very own unique and mysterious style. The record gets completed with a raw and destructive rework by the Austrian duo Fehlzündung, who get along with only few elements, still able to deliver some serious floor damage.
