We're starting to get warmer weather here in Sweden and we thought we’d celebrate that by putting together a little mix for you. It’s full of that slow, funky, groovy stuff that sounds best when you’re relaxing in the sunshine. No tracklist provided - we wouldn't want to spoil the fun of digging for you.

This is our first mix under the title "Lifetime Grooves".  We made this with help from one of our best friends and favorite DJs Daniel T (@danieltmusic ). We included a great remix he did with our friend @turbotito (Filip Nikolic from Poolside) of our song "Ndivile" which has not yet been released. We invited our good friends, Kris Santiago & La Blu to join our party. The daytime-disco event will be held on Saturday, the 29th of June at one of Budapest’s coolest rooftop terraces, 360 Bar! For this occasion Kris & La Blu prepared an impressive guest mix, ranging from disco, over funk, to synth pop and a bit of house. “All in all, this mix is made for a day at the river, or beach, or while you are at work to keep you in a positive mood.“ they say. There are different tiers of donations, depending on how much you give, you will in turn receive merchandise and future concert/festival tickets. 

In the context of the quarantine in Mexico, dozens of festivals and thousands of live music events have been canceled or postponed and the most affected are the musicians, staff and all those who work in the music entertainment industry.

Of the total donation, 60% will go to all the bands and their staff and 40% will go to El Día Después, a Mexican association that will create a musical community restoration program once the contingency for vulnerable groups within the industry ends ( musicians, staff and workers).

It's been a while since our last guestmix, and what better way to keep it lit then with an exclusive mix from an artist that's a housemate of the label and a friend, Satin Jackets. The last year has been a big one for this German based outfit (no pun intended) with releases currently sitting high on Beatport charts, productions in great demand, a worldwide following and the kicking off of the first series of live shows all over the place. Judging by the outfits work ethos this is only going to be the tip of the iceberg. 

Satin Jackets trademark sound is slow, sultry and brimming with optimism and todays mix reinforces this aesthetic. With a BPM that's in no hurry this mix is full of summer heat. With plenty of hooky vocals and a non pretentious approach to track selection this typifies Satin Jackets ethos of music to make you smile. We caught up with Tim and Den to ask them a few questions, some pertinent and some pointless.
