Sunday. That most hallowed of days. Be you just finishing your night out at an after, after party or just unwinding with a nice glass of vino, we embrace the end of the weekend for what it is, a chilled out affair.  Thus, we thought it was about time we started soundtracking this most underrated of times, asking our favourites DJs to dig through their record boxes and serve up something a little different for our brand new Chilled Transmission series.

After last weeks more funk infused mix from Homeboy, fun loving German duo Satin Jackets serve up set of selections designed primarily to make you feel, well human again. We'll freely admit the cold weather and the fact it's still not quite Christmas yet had begun to take its toll on us here at DT towers but luckily Tim B and Den Ishu were on hand to cure our chronic case of SAD with an hour long mix of super sexy, infectious house music that's pure summertime.

"Every mix takes us a few months to find the right music. We pour my heart and soul into it and I hope to be able to take the listener on a little journey" the boys explain. "It doesn’t really matter where to as long as you can close your eyes and let it take you places."

In terrible times one needs to turn back to music for healing. I hadn't recorded a mixtape in over a year, and it felt like the right moment to say something. As Gil Scott Heron said, now it's Winter in America, and Winter is coming to the rest of the World. May we meet each other in music and celebrate togetherness.
