Cheeky pitched up vocal samples ping pong around our head keeping things fun and playful, while the undulating bass line drives us into a sweaty frenzy.

Anxiety hits. Maya B + Berenice deliver a dubbed out chase for our own steady heartbeat as it trembles in a tangle of irregular rhythms. Kick and bass weave around each other in a restless dance while intricate percussion work flutters like butterflies in our stomach. Mellow piano chords lurk below the surface and stroke us gently while a jarring synth stabs us with a mystical ascending scale, all adding to the overall feeling of unease. It’s a race to get out of this trip.

Our feet are grounded by a drone-like bassline, while our heads remain in the clouds of euphoric washy synth melodies and glistening pad textures.
