Lyrically this is a song about choices, consequences.

 I once was lost in sin and shame, until the Savior called my name He  brought me to a better place, full of mercy and His grace That is why I love Him so, He took my life so full of woe and gave me peace I can't explain, even in the midst of pain
In this world, you will have trouble, but don't be afraid, He has overcome the world In Him there's joy, in Him good news He is there with you, so that you won't lose
His grace is amazing, it is so sweet His blood a river poured out, so that we could meet Underneath the cleansing flood, we can be clean of all of the sin and shame,        the world He came to save
So if you want some good news,        in a world filled with bad You too can have peace among the crazy Joy in the hazy times of your life
