Alone in the Dark is a DJ from Leipzig, Germany. Moved to Leipzig in 2022 and inpired by the rich underground goth and techno scene he started djing in 2023. He blends various dark electronic music genres including Dark Techno, Darkwave, Coldwave, Electronic/Techno Body Music and Industrial with additional bits of New Beat, Italo Disco, Electro Pop, New Wave and Postpunk.

The set is created with the feeling of being in a safe space and losing yourself to the sound and the track selection is inspired by the emotions and experiences of the last month. Through a blend of beats and melodies, the artist invites the listeners to this journey firsthand.

Lian's DJ sets traverse the realms of Dark Wave, Electronic Body Music and Techno, making him perfectly apt at hi-energy club manifestations & darker settings alike.

The dramatic visceral narrative of VALANAÏS meets with the EBM/Industrial-charged dark electronic project, influenced by Darkwave and Post-Punk, from Karim Bornaz (aka Nasty Habits), aka BlindÇhild. 
"Appeal” is an autobiographical track that recounts the harrowing story of my (VALANAÏS’) grandparents during the bombings of Berlin in 1945 wherein, following an evacuation to the countryside, Grandmother gave birth to Father whilst Grandfather was a prisoner of war. Analogies are drawn between the smoke and the atmosphere of Berlin’s destruction and the lights in the misty night of the Berlin countryside.
