Using a heavy bassline mixed up nicely with subtle sounds and effects. Macromism remix is next and It starts with some crisp beats and a gritty bassline takes control making this production really nasty. As last is Alex Costa and it comes to the table with another devastating bassline featuring solid effects and a bit more bouncy percussive elements keeping a good vibe throughout. Dave Dresden Gives You The Feels (felt on march 2nd, 2015)

The “Anti-Normal” EP is inspired by moments that happen at parties and clubs. The moment when the vibe is so intense that your skin tingles (Anti-Normal). The moment when everything feels a bit...weird (No Sitting). The moment when your friend gets lost in the party and starts acting a little ridiculous (It’s Fucking Bumping in Here, Dude). The moment when you lose your ego in a pitch-black warehouse (Aphotic). And finally, the moment when you fall in love… and the moment when it all goes wrong (Dancing With A Demon).

Darkly lush at times, and mischievously playful at others, the EP pays homage to classic Detroit techno while remaining fresh, modern and unique. Through careful synthesis, Asher has crafted an otherworldly soundscape, ensuring that the individual personalities of each layer are distinctively showcased. The breakdowns are meditative, playfully embracing the absence of sound. The sparsity often gives the illusion of an alteration in rhythm, causing the listener to feel as though they are free falling. When the intensity returns, a sonic adrenaline rush fills the dance floor with a feeling of absolute euphoria.

In Asher’s words, “Anti-Normal, more than a synonym for abnormal, describes an active aversion to normalcy. In my experience, the best people are those who confidently enjoy their own quirks… Those who aren’t afraid to be looked at as a little different. Especially within the world of dance music, I think it’s important to push the envelope as far as possible, both musically and otherwise.”

Modul Art makes his debut on Minus, with a highly varied EP.

The first track of the EP "Anubis" is clearly oriented to the dance floor, with its recurring techno rhythm and melody.
Accompanied throughout by African percussion and a lead which gives its Egyptian side to the track.

The Second track "The Hiding Of The Beast" is a really special piece, dark atmosphere and offbeat rhythm gives a trashy side but softened by the emergence of synth.
The bass line is constantly evolving to become increasingly more powerful.

The third track "Smoking Shoes" is more oriented tech house.
The bass on several tones gives a joyful and dancing side.
While the synths will reveal a darker feeling.

The fourth track "Can You Feel The Darkness"close this EP in beauty.
Dark atmosphere , techno rhythm, acidulous synth and powerful bass.

It's been 10 years since their last release on 20/20 Vision, but it is with great excitement that we welcome Spirit Catcher back to the label with their aptly named Blast From The Past EP! 

As one of the corner stones of 20/20, their early singles and album are legendary label artefacts and these guys were total pioneers of the cosmic, disco infused house sound which then became prominent in following years. 

Blast From The Past has been getting heavy rotation in Ralph Lawson's sets over the summer and so we're really glad to finally see it reach the light of day. This one is a trip into hyperspace with cosmic synth pulses leading the way before a killer bass line takes you track straight to planet Spirit Catcher! 

On the flip Closer takes the trip further with more expert bass hooks being joined by vox pads and otherwordly fx. The EP is finished off with Routing Madness, a homeage to the duos love for analogue studio gear which you can hear in the intricate synth patterns which pop and weave through the tracks duration.

Celebrating the labels landmark 100th release, Uto Karem has compiled a special 14 track LP with hand-selected new tracks from Cristian Varela, Loco & Jam, Filterheadz, Mladen Tomic, and Anderson Noise plus many others including himself. Along with releasing tracks by established veterans such as UMEK, Rino Cerrone, Ramiro Lopez, The Advent and Ramon Tapia, the label has on many occasions featured fresh new talent, and its vibrant history includes giving early releases to the likes of Joseph Capriati, Paride Saraceni and Rafa Barrios when they were still relatively unknown. This release showcases the Agile Recordings sound and some of the artists that have been instrumental in the label's development since the first EP in 2008. Covering a full spectrum of techno and all its sub-genres, the core of the label focuses on peak-time tracks. Sometimes melodic, other times industrial, it's always on point when it comes to delivering crowd-pleasing tracks designed for underground dance floors.

Italian techno imprint Unrilis returns with a brand new single from the heavyweight pairing of Markantonio and Roberto Capuano, featuring two sterling remixes from Luigi Madonna..Rino Cerrones Rilis and Unrilis labels have been a staple of the techno landscape for over a decade now, releasing searing, floorfilling music from Cerrone and some of the scenes leading lights. Now Unrilis looks again to techno heavyweight Markantonio for its latest single, a single that sees the Neapolitan DJ/producer team up with young production talent Roberto Capuano who has already had such success on labels such as Analytic Trail & Driving Forces.This new EP opens with Pearl a superbly hypnotic, pulsing techno workout that fuses rumbling bass tones with skittering percussion to create the base for the intense synth stabs that rise from the mix, quality stuff. Pearl is followed by the second of the two original tracks Gem, which is a fitting title for this outstanding piece of techno: deep and aggressive, the track layers white noise over an industrial soundtrack to come up with a no holds barred record that ticks all the right boxes.The EP is completed with two remixes of Pearl from fellow Italian producer Luigi Madonna, a man who has been making a solid name for himself with releases on Marco Baileys MB Elektronics, Hawtins Plus 8 and Adam Beyer Drumcode to name but a few. First up we get the Club mix that sees Luigi in full flight, dropping a version of Pearl that is haunting and mesmerizing in equal measure, this is followed by the Dub mix where things go deeper into the abyss, with a mix that strips things back and takes the listener beyond the realms of light.Unrilis have another sterling release on their hands, delivered by some of italys best techno producers, enjoy!
