Since we got into photography, Sean Tucker has been a constant source of inspiration. From his stunning brutalist street work mostly in London (unofficially / brilliantly dubbed 'light architecture' by one fan a few years ago), to his more recent softer approach to the streets and countryside of Yorkshire... from his beautifully shot YouTube videos exploring a multitude of topics, to his 2021 book 'The Meaning in the Making', discussing the philosophy around taking a photograph and why...

It's fair to say this was a big deal, and whatever I write here doesn't really go far enough to explain how much of a joy this was to record (despite my face saying otherwise), and how appreciative we were of Sean giving up his evening to talk to us.

If you're a photographer or artist in any other sense, you really should buy his book, it's like the greatest source of inspiration that will make you pick up your camera, paintbrush, drum sticks, or whatever and go out into the world to create something.

We were honoured to speak to the king of Street Candy, Vincent Moschetti.

We'd been planning a chat for weeks, and it happened to be that we were scheduled to speak a couple of weeks after Vincent Sadly announced Street Candy was to be discontinued, due to a massive price rise from his suppliers.

We had a great chat (sorry about the audio issues), talking about the history of both Street Candy ATM400 and MTN100, plus Vincent's blog, On Film Only.

We also got a chance to see what would have been, as Vincent shared with us the brand new artwork for the upcoming batch of Street Candy that never was, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

It was literally (literally!) the biggest honour to speak to Scarlet Page, an incredible rock music photographer who has taken some of our favourite photos. Without knowing it at the time, we both used to have loads of Scarlet's photos on our walls as teenagers, cut out of magazines like Kerrang and Raw, pictures of Foo Fighters, The Wildhearts, David Bowie, and loads more.

We also talk about Scarlet's portrait projects: Buddy; and Resonator, which you can take a look at on her website. Plus we touch on the work of Scarlet's Mother, Charlotte Martin, a renowned model from the 1960s, and how it inspires her work.
