Another killer premiere! This trio of ultra fresh tracks were penned for recent live shows in The Hague and Berlin and are brimming with the energy and excitement Facey felt on PLANT43's return to the live circuit

Anyone who has had even half an eye on the electro scene over the past decade will already be familiar with Emile Facey aka Plant43's unique sound, mixing an uncompromising approach to off kilter rhythms and machine-led funk with an emotive and powerful use of melody. Remote Signals' is led by a booming kick drum heavy enough to command any audience with Facey weaving ever more complex webs of melody around it. 'Searching The Skies' builds a mysterious atmosphere based around a call and response between characterful melodic elements while 'Constantly Morphing Entity' closes the EP with a flourish of forward moving beats and an SH101 bass line designed to move any dancefloor.

When it came to editing, Razormaid! was never a slouch, especially with this one! Combining the best of Front 242's "Headhunter" and "Welcome To Paradise", this one always kept the dancefloors full. My only problem was the fact that Razormaid! left out the best part of "Welcome To Paradise" - the catch phrase the had everyone shouting, "Hey Poor!". So, I added it in and decided to make a few small changes along the way to make it slightly my own - not much but enough I suppose. Using the cd single as source material and Razormaid! issue Z-23 as a reference guide, here is my contribution to an already Razormaid! classic.
