Ádhamh makes his FES debut with ‘Causal Shifts’, a new 7 track release that examines the intersection of probability and creativity.  Founder of the great Faoi Thalamh Records from Ireland's west coast, Adam Ryan Dubh aka Ádhamh (pron. Aw-huv) produces detailed and industrial electronics, tastefully discordant with a comb-like resonance.

In September 2024, Ádhamh was commissioned to compose a new collection of sound-works (‘Poll na bPéist: A Symphony of Scattered Electrons’) for the ‘Earth Rising’ festival at IMMA. Having created an extensive library of sounds as a result of this commission, Ádhamh now returns to extrapolate these sounds out even further. Using a number of custom-built generative effects processing set-ups to warp and transform old ideas into new, ‘Causal Shifts’ features 7 Hiberno-futurist extractions that shift between atonality, dissonance and limit-testing rhythms.
