Mike Morrisey returns to Zest with a standout EP made up of two varied original tracks, with remixes from Dafs and Simone Ellis. A message from Mike..

'The two originals seem to seamlessly incorporate my signature sound with a more stripped-back, Zest-influenced vibe about them. Subtle percussion grooves laced with energetic low ends have proven to be a hit in the clubs in the run up to release, already gathering huge support from the best of the best, and on some of the biggest club and festival stages in the game. I've really enjoyed seeing the release come to life and can't wait to share it with everyone on my imprint, Zest Records.

The first remix comes from London-based producer and friend of mine, Dafs. One of the most naturally talented musicians I've come across in all my time as a DJ, Producer and student of Music.  A multi-genre production wizard and a serious selector too, it was only right I got him involved and he didn't disappoint. Expect high-energy synths and a low end that will shake any room when played on a big system. A true credit to the release.

Secondly, It's my pleasure entirely to welcome another friend of mine to the label, Simone Ellis. From the moment I first heard Simone's music a few years ago, it was very clear to me that she had something special. Another true musical talent and without a doubt one of my favourite producers with a massive career ahead of her. I asked Simone to round off my EP with a remix in her style and the result was exactly what i'd hoped it would be.'

Mike Morrisey - Twisttt (Dafs Remix)

Barcelona-based SIGHT RECORDS returns with its third release courtesy of rising star Andrew Azara. Having recently contributed to Cecille Records and Djebali's catalogues, the Irishman is currently on a roll, and he makes his label debut with the classy and elegant "Dance Frenzy" EP. Opening up the release, ravey synths, squelchy acid sounds, and loose percussions are melted together into a high-speed house roller with edgy synths and warped vocals, whilst the B-side is more about deep and dubby scenarios with tight minimal drums, funky chords, soothing pads, and laser-like synths floating into a futuristic universe.

ACA - Late Night Fantasy (Lapsus Music)

Politics Of Dancing returns to their self-titled label with more perfect club bait. 'Fonk' is a breezy, smooth tech house pumper with shape-shifting synths and a nice tightly coiled bassline that are perfectly easy to latch onto a cruise along with. 'Little Freak' brings more colour to some psychedlic synth refrains that loop over the bubbly tech house beats and 'Breaky' has a gritty low end and cosmic pads. It's body music with a future edge and last of all is an Arapu remix which ups the pace a little and brings some sci-fi motifs to a fulsome minimal soundscape.
