The enigmatic @ashee_music comes back to Life and Death with two electrifying peak time anthems. 

‘Frisbee’ is a dazzling tribute to Italo-disco and the unapologetic lead synth melodies of 80s dance music. Its hypnotic hook, reminiscent of "I Feel Love," dances up and down the scales, weaving seamlessly with a rumbling garage-style reese bass. The result is an unexpected and thrilling cocktail designed to act on dancefloors like gas and fire.

The bold "Fortuna" blends a monstrous 90s hip-hop-inspired bassline with a chaotic frenzy of layered percussion. The result is an unclassifiable carnival-like banger—perfect for massive sound systems, wild street parties, chaotic street parties, and clearly designed to be played way too loud. 

Ashee’s sound pulls no punches. Eschewing subtlety for raw impact, it’s music that slams into you and doesn’t look back. With a punk ethos at its core, Ashee fuses sinister 90s techno grit, euphoric rave highs, and chest-thumping garage basslines—like the growl of a souped-up Vauxhall Corsa tearing through the night past neon-lit kebab shops.

Contemporary house hero Darius Syrossian returns with more timeless tunes on his The Fire Dance EP on Griffintown Records. Syrossian has been shaping the house sound for decades. He brings raw, direct sounds that are free from fads and hugely effective, always with plenty of personality. They come across the spectrum from tech to deep, garage to jacking on many vital labels including his own Moxy Muzik. Ahead of another busy summer of international gigs he drops some more heat. The Fire Dance opens up with sizzling percussive grooves, plenty of deft percussion and a male vocal that brings real soul. Signature drum fills build the pressure across this most effective house sound then Ready For The Drama brings some garage swing. It's a smooth cut with a seductive female vocal and lush chords that will make any party go right off. These are signature Syrossian tunes that are sure to make a big impression across the scene.
