اِلْزَمْ بَابَ رَبِّكْ ، وَاتْرُكْ كُلَّ دُونْ
وَاسْأَلْهُ السَّلَامَةْ مِنْ دَارِ الفُتُونْ
Stick to the door of your lord, and abandon all else.
Ask Him for safety from the abode of trials
لا يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكْ ، فَالحَادِثْ يَهُونْ
اللهُ المُقَدِّرْ، وَالعَالَمْ شُئُونْ
Let not your heart feel constriction, the temporal world is insignificant
Allah is the decreer of all fates, and the world is merely its manifestation
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot
whatever is decreed, will come to pass
فِكْرَكْ وَاخْتِيَارَكْ دَعْهُمَا وَرَاكْ
وَالتَّدْبِيرَ أَيْضًا ، وَاشْهَدْ مَنْ بَرَاكْ
Your thought and choices, cast them behind your back
your plans, as well; witness He who created you.
مَوْلَاكَ المُهَيْمِنْ ، إِنَّهُ يَرَاكْ
فَوِّضْ لُهْ أُمُورَكَ ، وَاحْسِنْ بِالظُّنُونْ
Your Master, the Dominant - indeed, He sees you
Consign to Him all your affairs and beautify your opinions (of Him)
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot
whatever is decreed, will come to pass
لَوْ وَلِمْ وَكَيفَ قَوْلُ ذِي الحَمَقْ
يَعْتَرِضْ عَلَى اللَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقْ
If only, why, and how are the statements of the fools
objecting to Allah who created,
وَقَضَى وَقَدَّرْ كُلَّ شَيءْ بِحَقّ
يَا قَلبي تَنَبَّهْ ، وَاتْرُكِ المُجُونْ
apportioned, and decreed everything in truth
O heart of mine, wake up and abandon impudence
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot
whatever is decreed, will come to pass
قَدْ ضَمِنْ تَعَالَى بِالرِّزْقِ القَوَامْ
فِي الكِتَابِ المُنْزَلْ نُورًا لِلأَنَامْ
He, the Most High, has taken responsibility for provisions and livelihood
in a book that was revealed as a light for creation
فَالرِّضَا فَرِيضَةْ ، وَالسَّخَطْ حَرَامْ
وَالقُنُوعْ رَاحَةْ ، وَالطَّمَعْ جُنُونْ
So, acceptance is an obligation, and resentment is forbidden
Contentment is peace, and greed is insanity
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot
whatever is decreed, will come to pass
أَنْتَ وَالخَلَائِقْ كُلُّهُمْ عَبِيدْ
وَالإِلَهُ فِينَا يَفْعَلْ مَا يُرِيدْ
You and all of creation are servants,
and God does as He will with us
هَمُّكَ وَاغْتِمَامُكْ وَيْحَكْ مَا يُفِيدْ
القَضَا تَقَدَّمْ ، فَاغْنَمِ السُّكُونْ
Your worry and stress - Woe to you - will avail nothing
The Divine decree has come, so remain calm
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot
whatever is decreed, will come to pass
الَّذِي لِغَيْرِكْ لَنْ يَصِلْ إلَيْكْ
وَالَّذِي قُسِمْ لَكْ حَاصِلٌ لَدَيْكْ
That which is decreed for others will never reach you
and that which was apportioned for you, you will receive
فَاشْتَغِلْ بِرَبِّكْ وَالَّذِي عَلَيْكْ
فِي فَرْضِ الحَقِيقَةْ وَالشَّرْعِ المَصُونْ
So, busy yourself with your Lord and that which you are responsible for
in the obligations of reality and the preserved Sacred law
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot
whatever is decreed, will come to pass
شَرْعِ المُصْطَفَى الهَادِي البَشِيرْ
خَتْمِ الأَنْبِيَاءِ البَدْرِ المُنِيرْ
the Sacred law of the Chosen one, the Guide, the Giver of glad tidiings
the Seal of the Prophets, the radiant full moon
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيهِ الرَّبُّ القَدِيرْ
مَا رِيحُ الصَّبَا مَالَتْ بِالغُصُونْ
May the blessings of Allah, the All-Powerful Lord
as long as the morning wind bends the branches
لا يَكْثُرُ هَمُّكْ
مَا قُدِّرْ يَكُونْ
Let not your worries be a lot

Remain ever present at the door of your Lord -  إلزم باب ربك واترك كل دون - Imam Al-Haddad

This is Chapter 4 of the famous work, known as The Burdah, sung by Manaqib Nasheeds.

Al-Busiri narrated the circumstances of his inspiration to write the Burdah:

...I had composed a number of praise poems for the Prophet, Allah bless Him and salute Him with peace, including one that was suggested to me by my friend Zayn al-Dīn Yʿaqūb b. al-Zubayr. Some time after that, I was stricken by fālij (stroke), an illness that paralyzed half of my body. I thought that I would compose this poem, and so I made supplications to the Prophet Muhammad, Allah bless Him and salute Him with peace, to intercede for me and (and ask God to) cure me. I repeatedly sang the poem, wept, prayed, and asked for intercession. Then I slept and in my dream, I saw the Prophet, Allah bless Him and salute Him with peace. He wiped my face with His blessed hands and covered me in His Mantle (Burdah). Then I woke up and found I was able to walk; so I got up and left my house. I had told no one about what had happened.

I encountered a Sufi (faqīr) on my way and he said to me: “I want you to give me the poem in which you praise the Prophet, Allah bless Him and salute Him with peace.”

I said: “Which one?”

So he said: ”The one that you composed during your sickness.”

Then he recited the first verse and said: “I swear by God that I heard it in a dream last night being sung in the presence of the Prophet Muhammad, Allah bless Him and salute Him with peace. I saw the Prophet, Allah bless Him and salute Him with peace, was pleased with it and covered the person who sang it with His Mantle.”
So I recited the poem to him and he memorized it and related his vision to others.

The Burda is divided into 10 chapters and 160 verses all rhyming with each other. Interspersing the verses is the refrain, "My Patron Deity, confer blessings and peace continuously and eternally on Your Beloved, the Best of All Creation" (Arabic: مولاي صلي و سلم دائما أبدا على حبيبك خير الخلق كلهم). Each verse ends with the Arabic letter mīm, a style called mīmīya. The 10 chapters of the Burda comprise:
On Lyrical Love Yearning
On Warnings about the Caprices of the Self
On the Praise of the Prophet
On His Birth
On His Miracles
On the Exalted Stature and Miraculous Merits of the Qur'an
On the Ascension of the Prophet
On the Struggle of Allah’s Messenger
On Seeking Intercession through the Prophet
On Intimate Discourse and the Petition of One’s State.
