The number seven represents completeness, perfection and the pursuit of life's deeper secrets. Its meaning is tied directly to creation and has unique spiritual properties. These spiritual and metaphysical elements are what SEVN strives to deliver in his performances and through his compositions. Just like life, his intricate DJ sets are in constant evolution, taking the listener on a journey through various palettes of sound, cultures and grooves. 2020 and 2021 were breakout years for SEVN, with over 30 releases on some of the genre’s biggest labels.

Over the last few years he has played consistently in some of the best clubs in Montreal. SEVN is one of the original founders of Hidden Garden and the curator of Hidden Garden Radio.

Metronome Records opens a new chapter with its first solo release: “Vortex EP” by Gudj. The EP features two original tracks and remixes by Masupilami and Cirkel Square. “Vortex” establishes a hypnotic tone with tight percussion and a deep, rolling energy, while “Unnamed” presents a brighter, more open groove with crisp rhythms and fluid movement. Masupilami delivers a bold rework of “Vortex,” reshaping it into a deeper, dynamic club weapon with his signature touch. It all began right there on the playa, six years ago under the rays of the morning sun, immersed in the magic of the beautiful Robot Heart sound stage.  A community so powerful and strong, it has become the biggest inspiration for my own musical journey. The people I met, the music I heard and the feelings I had that first night have left a lasting impression and inspired me to learn a new skill and start playing and producing music.

In the modern world, traveling around the world, making countless acquaintances we get lost in this endless whirlpool of activity. We start seeking a sense of belonging, experiences that unite us and inspire to create. This is what Robot Heart does for many of us, whether you come here to dance, play or connect. 

My own experience led me to start experimenting with sound and styles, curating artists that would join us on the playa for a week and become family for life.  We grew into a amazing community, which we call White Ocean, united by our love and passion for creativity and exploration. There is nothing more inspiring for me at the moment than seeing how music can improve our lives and open our minds to new adventures and experiences. It did it for me......

It has been the greatest honor to come back to where it all started and play my set for Robot Heart's 10 year anniversary on the playa. I wish your journey to continue for my years to come:)

Hello folks! 

A crazy day took place on June 23rd! It happened to be a Sunday and we spent it in two countries: Sweden and Denmark. We first played in Malmö Sweden at the Backyard Sessions party from 7pm to 8pm and then rushed to Copenhagen through the bridge called Øresund. Just in time for our set at 1st Booking with the Kulturshot crew at 10:30pm!  
This has been a very very fun day and we're grateful for both crews inviting us to play. From the sunny rooftop vibes of Malmö to the forest rave vibe of Copenhagen... what a day!
