The Witching Hour

After several years of not writing music and leaving what used to be a large part of my life on the back burner, I'm trying my hand at making music again. I've had to learn how to use DAW software and try and figure out the recording process so it's been a whole adventure. 

I made several songs before this, on my way to figuring out how to use a laptop to make music and although I've dabbled in electronic music before, this feels very different. I used to throw layers upon layers onto a beat and try create an interesting soundscape, but that logic doesn't work when you intend to sing over your track. I try and keep it as simple as possible but You'll hear there are probably still too many things going on in here. 

In any case, I hope to make more music in the future and get progressively better in what I aim to create and convey but also in the technical aspects of music production.
