Tom Clayton is a producer and DJ from Melbourne, Australia. Tom's musical style incorporates a mix of dark and minimal techno with a hint of Melbourne Bounce, which has featured on labels such as Bourne, Darksound, Fat Belly, Psymal, Apache Recs & more. Tom's musical ability has warranted the support and collaboration from icons such as Joel Fletcher, Uberjak'd & Orkestrated, and multiple tracks have gained recognition on various music charts. Three of Tom's tracks have reached the Electro House Chart including Mayhem at #1, Broken (feat. Bianca) at #2 and Tom's original track Into The Night (feat. Tylah) reached #16, while his remix of Ventil Shape and After Hours both reached #4 on the Minimal Chart.

Tom discovered Melbourne Sound in 2008 through a chance discovery of the WahWah podcasts, leading him to devour the likes of Mike Metro, Holly J, Stevie Mink and Choobz which propelled him to pursue music as a career. Tom studied Sound Engineering at the Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT) where he developed an in-depth knowledge of mixing and technique that improved the quality of his music. However, the majority of Tom's production knowledge has been self-taught through trial and error, where he has evolved from fluking sounds into a confident producer who can write and create with ease.

Tom currently educates emerging producers with his wealth of knowledge through one-on-one production lessons. Tom commenced teaching as he believes the power of collaboration supersedes learning individually, and to give the experience that he lacked in his forthcoming years; access to a mentor who possessed the knowledge and skills he was seeking. Tom enjoys watching his students thrive and flourish under his direction, although the relationships that have grown from working with his students are the epitome of his lessons.

Tom Clayton's reign has seen him journey around Australia, headline at an event in Malaysia, collaborate with household names, and be recognised on the Electro House Chart and Minimal Charts. Tom finds engaging in music to be an act of self-care, which helps him to remain positive during difficult times. Through production lessons, Tom aims to pass on his love and experience in writing multiple genres and styles onto the next generation of producers.
