Here is my compostion for the Summoner-Of-Sounds Assault Action ive called it Die-Section187. I have tried to give this progression a dark futuristic sc-fi atmosphere and feeling of droping in from somewere else or another realm with a few near misses and then starting to summon the sound and build into an electro step metal rock dub original combat marching soundtrack style vibe but still enough room i feel for other game sounds to be layered over the top if needed but still dark and phat and heavy with that feeling of dodging lazers and psychedelic weapons in slow motion! I started this song more than a year ago, maybe even two years ago - lol. Thank you so much S.Yamagishi, Steve Vercelloni, and Stricknice for being so patient with me - haha! 

This track went through tons of arangement changes. I originally couldn't come up with any decent lyrics or vocals so I asked tons of people to join in. But in the end, this song wanted me to come up with some vocals and lyrics to get it started. Thankfully Augenmerk blessed this track with her beautiful poetry and brought this song to final fruition.

Steph Sweet, Unearth Noise, and Calebass & the Couch King - Summer Is Gone, Hail The Sun

Scandroid, the modern Synthwave project from Detroit based artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, is Klayton’s love letter to the 80s. 

The debut, self-titled album features 15 tracks, ranging from the driving instrumental energy of "Destination Unknown," to melodic vocal tracks like "Awakening With You," "Aphelion," and "Neo-Tokyo," rounded out with the cinematic epics "2517" & "Singularity." As a child of the 80s, Klayton has also included a cover of the classic Tears For Fears song "Shout," that he has been patiently waiting to cover since he first heard the song on U.S. radio in 1985. The digital album concludes with a bonus remix from synthwave artist Waveshaper. The 72 minute album depicts themes of a cyberpunk future where humans and sentient robots struggle to find a connection in their dystopian world.

This track is the first of two from a MAXI to be released soon.
Title of the MAXI is: DARK side / BRIGHT side.
If I have to describe it (but it is quite difficult this time) I would call it Punky & Funky Lounge Dub :)
The two really organic tunes belong together, although they have been written in different periods of time.
Somehow I kept them separate from other tracks that were made in the same period of time. And now, much later, I felt how they were connected and I sent them to Mr Sax, Joerxworx.
When I asked Jörg which one he liked he was very firm: "BOTH!"
That's how the idea of a MAXI emerged and this is the first track.

Michael Norris is a guy from New Zealand who has created 'SoundMagic Spectral',  a suite of freeware Audio Unit plug-ins that I used when writing these two tracks.
It's clear that such a noble deed belongs on the BRIGHT side of the MAXI. And why I called this track "Michael Norris (for president)". 

Soon I will release the second part "Putain (de nuit)" which is also a punky & funky lounge dub track but with a very dark subject. 
Obviously that song will appear on the DARK side of the MAXI that will be released on bandcamp as well in the future.

After sending him the mixes, Jörg described our collabs as "outer space swing" with many influences like jazz, swing, punk, psychedelic and a touch of bigband. YUMMY!

Froxie is a side project of Cranky Fox and it is situated in a militant dub environment. With loads of influences -musically- it is quite difficult to understand where it goes sometimes. 
But one thing's for sure: "When a frog jumps in the water the circles will spread all over the pond". 

Actually I don't give a damn how genres should sound. It depends on the moment how the blend will be. 
I'm old enough to be influenced by many sounds, from all over the world.
If you want roots dub: don't bother! I will never make it!
