Day 1 - Summon The Giant Robot

A wanted to try to write a jig for a long time. I love those songs. And how could it work in a videogamegame? Maybe as a background music in a tavern.

Day 5 - Jig Jag

Idea here was to pick a random country in the world (in my case Abkhazan) and write a tune inspired by music from that country. As I have found, Abkhazan folk music, which was where I wanted to go for inspiration, is using a lot of accordion and flutes with the support of smaller percussion, like tablas. So here is my try at that.

Day 12 - Abkhazian Dances

Clouds of the giants seemed like a good name for this song where I used NI Instrument's "The Giant" Klavins Piano Model 370i and it's "Harp Piano" patch from Cinematic. What a wonderful sound. The flute is duduk, also NI instrument in Kontakt default library.

Day 21 - Wictoria

So I wrote this and was happy about it, until my wife said "You know this is Skyrim, right?" ...and I realized it's totally true....so I rewrote the melody. It still sounds like Skyrim to me though, sorry ya'll...skrew it....on to the next one.

Simple melody line using only choir and solo voice.

Something eccstatic...euphoric....getting close to the finish line.

Day 20 - Finish Line

This track was made as a collab between me and my friend Isaac Plovanic, where I played a bunch of chords on piano and a bit of basson and he did the piano solos. It was a really fun expreince to exchange what we had in mind and finish it together. Hope to do more in the future. We did it, Isaac, yay!

Day 21 - Unknown Stranger - Collab with Isaac Plovanic

A short re-arrengment of Austin Wintory's main theme for his upcomming game OST for a game Erica. The challenge was posted publicly on his facebook page. I didn't want to go ful orchestral, but rather intimate, almost sad and do a dynamic change at the end with the distorted bass and drums which which sort of stands for getting out of the saddnes or nostalgia back on the feet and refocus.
