Gypsy has made her mark on the Tasmanian underground scene for the past 5 years, and is one of the well-known techno DJs across the state. She is also resident DJ and co-founder of Tasmania's strongest techno party brand SPICYMUSIC, which runs monthly events featuring international and local techno DJs/Producers from around the globe.

Her sets are best known for an infectious blend of tripped out, hypnotic, dark, heavy and grimy, bass driven sounds, with a touch of acid. She plays regularly at Tasmanian underground events and festivals, as well as featuring at well-known events & clubs in Sydney such as We Love & Goodbar, as well as performing at Babylon Festival in Victoria. 
She has regular guest appearances on underground European radio shows & has featured on Steve Wards Chameleon Global Radio show, which is broadcasted live in 9 countries.

She has played alongside some of the worlds biggest techno artists, such as: Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Bart Skils, Farrago, Setaoc Mass, Luigi Madonna, Perc, Dasha Rush, Secret Cinema, Arjun Vagale, Pig&Dan, Enrico Sangiuliano, DJ Lion, Anetha, Alberto Ruiz, Barbuto, Mark Reeve, Miguel Bastida, Matt Sassari, Ron Costa, Loco&Jam, and Phil Kieran just to name a few.

Gypsy is definitely one to watch if techno is your flavour, as her distinct unique style is guaranteed to make you move!

My name is Alfredo Botta, and I'm a DJ, producer, and musician. I've been making music since 1986 using my Commodore 64 and then using my Amiga. By the end of the 90s, I started using FruityLoops to create Techno-based music. Since many years now I've been using Ableton and Native Instruments to create various kinds of music: from Spiritual & Medicine Music to Downtempo over to Techno. 

I like to experiment with music as this gives me my inspiration to be creative. Since 2020 I started DJing and mixing as well as this helps to spread the spirit of the music. In 2019 I created my own record label called FruityAlfred Records which brings together artists from all over the world who share my passion for creating unique sounds through different styles but mostly Organic Downtempo, Electronica, Ambient and Deep House.

Music is a hobby to me which allows me freedom without being under pressure!
