, when I heard the beat, it felt sad, and if you listen close enough, they’re a little bit of static at the beginning of the track that reminded me of rain. From there I just started to reflect. The first thing that came to mind was granny so inevitably she would be the first thing I mention, and then after that just where I was in life. The song embodies perseverance. Metaphorically speaking on our attempts to do great things in hopes that it’ll one day numb or stop the pain. Maybe after I do this, or maybe after I get there, certain things won’t bother me the same way they do now, but I just had to accept that the pain will always be there, it’s inevitable.. and avoiding it is like dodging raindrops.
