On July 19th 2011 Plastic Fantastic appeared on the radio for the first time. We were invited to record a guest-mix for Andy Pye's then fledgling Balearic Social radio show, which is still going strong and has since spawned a record label and a monthly night at the Outlaws Yacht Club in Leeds, UK.

This month we have a bit of a mammoth selection of music, in part due to there being so much great music out there and also this month coincides with pulling together music for the opening of Chow Down. Usual proceedings with the ReFrame kicking off the show for the first 2+ hours  with a summer kissed eclectic selection featuring music from: 

Coyote, Franco & Jockely, Black Market, House of Assembly, Derek Harriot, teletron, Andrea Dame, Delicate Wash, Cruisic, BB Seaton, Guruku Laidback, Pejzaz, The Naturals Gaoule Mizik, Vaughan Mason, Tony Orlando.

We then welcome UFO Club also known as Ben Lewis to those close to him. Ben is resident DJ for Crossed Wires and Outlaws Yacht Club both Leeds based and produces music under the moniker UFO club with recent releases of Invisible Inc and Paisley Dark records. In his own words ‘Its Italo Disco in style’.

It’s a belter and moves this months episode into the night time hours. Thanks Ben
