Cavaliers of Fun – Valley of Dreams

Cavaliers of Fun are back and this time Ricco Vitali and Nico take you to their secret hideout. Valley of Dreams is where magic happens and there is no better place to spend the summer. Palm trees, never ending green fields, big lakes, unicorns, sunsets and rainbows. It is all about tropical space pop, hope wrapped in summer days and echoes of another time. Long lost symbols and mysteries are flying out from the chords of Nico’s guitar. Remember, home is where your heart is.

The single comes with remixes from Poindexter, Shelby Grey, Saint Pauli and Freak You, proving that the valley has something for everyone. Elegant dreamwave signed Poindexter, 80’s breakdub a la Shelby Grey, disco house by Saint Pauli and electro in its full senses build up from 90s vintage synths by Freak You.


Valley of Dreams is the first single from Cavaliers of Fun’s upcoming EP, CAMP COF which will be released during the autumn. The debut EP, Sharing Space Secrets was released in September 2011 on Holographic People

Else Born was featured on one of the finest Horixon tracks to date, 'Colours'. It was recently used as the soundtrack to the Stella McCartney produced One City, One Girl series based in Berlin. Now https://soundcloud.com/else-born, aka Turid Alida Solberg from Norwegian twisted pop sensation Philco Fiction, steps forward with her very own debut single, 'This Time/Remember'. It’s a melancholic mid-tempo track we instantly fell in love with at the Eskimo HQ. With its gentle synths, soft percussive elements and mesmerizing vocals, 'This Time/Remember' is a beautifully crafted track that creates a sense of nostalgia. 

On the remixes we find Blue Motel, a French electronic music duo based in Los Angeles, composed of Julien Nolan and Thomas Toccafondi. The cosmic grooves of Blue Motel are stepped in no particular musical tradition, but rather in multi-genre background ranging from disco, funk, house, new wave and other styles. The duo debuted in 2016 with a self-titled EP ‘Pacific Resident’ and has remixed the likes of Classixx, Poolside, Cannons and Kraak & Smaak.

MARLON PERCY & LOFRAMES  ‘THE PAIN I FEEL’

‘The Pain I Feel’ is the new single from British singer Marlon Percy and Anglo-French duo Loframes. A haunting, disco-house track that sees Percy channel his recent struggles to create a viscerally emotional song as Loframes rise to the challenge of creating a setting for the track that both complements the narrative and, importantly, gets you up and dancing. 
 
"I wrote this song when I was experiencing both emotional and physical pain at the same time,” explains Marlon. “Writing it was a way to express my current situation and was also a distraction from the harsh realities of life. When I sing this song it takes me to a place of higher realisation, almost meditation, and reminds me that sometimes we must feel pain in order to feel pleasure."
 
“When Marlon sent us ‘The Pain I Feel’ it was already so personal and full of meaning that we really wanted to give Marlon’s vocals the setting they deserved,” says Loframes’ Franck Russo. “The lyrics were already so powerful and strong, we knew they meant something for Marlon so it was important to do them justice. Just as importantly this collaboration created a strong, new friendship and a spur to future projects we can't wait to share."
 
London based Marlon Percy is a singer-songwriter and producer with his own unique style of electronic music that blends jazzy keys, soulful vocals and chilled house vibes. His debut EP ‘The Little Things’ received praise across the board from Clash Magazine to Jazz Standard and saw him supported by the likes of BBC Radio 1xtra, BBC Introducing, Seen Music, FM Fame and SBTV.
 
Since making their debut with the self-released single ‘Get Real (Can’t Touch Your Love)’, Anglo-French duo Loframes (London based musician James Yuill & Antibes producer Franck Russo) have firmly established themselves as ones to watch. Their stylish mix of synth-pop, deep house and nu-disco has won them a legion of fans amongst both DJs, public and press and led to a series of acclaimed remixes for the likes of Erasure, M83, Miami Horror and Keep Shelly In Athens amongst many others.
