Boss Fight - Cave

Like the title suggests. It's just some random VGM. I expect it has a little too much sub bass since I was a little lazy on this and didn't spend much time mixing/mastering it. It was supposed to be part of something else before tings changed, and I decided to save this little bit before I scrapped it.

Random VGM Happens (01)

Originally wasn't supposed to be a song. I was messing with Z3TA+ 2 and trying to make a wide space and it was for practicing other various aspects of production. I was also testing many things on the bass.
It's all bit random, due to the above reasons, but I figured I'd upload it anyway. Music theory may cringe a bit at this song though, ha ha.

(Note: The quality sounds a little bad after upload, probably should have made it an mp3...)

Music made for a game I was trying to make for a 72 hour game jam, in which I participated for the final 24 hours or so and failed miserably at finish on time, because I had my heart set on a small Metroid-like and stuff... yep, foolishness. XD

But hey, it was fun to give It my best shot. And I made some stuff, and still planning to complete the game too. Worth it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to sleep for two days. XD

I can do much better on quality, of course, but I'm a little rusty, I was rushed, and I wasn't using my good mixing speakers, for reasons.

If anyone has played my game "Yor Game", you might think, "Hey, that music doesn't really fit the game that well.", and you'd be right! The music DID fit the original action-based game concept I had planned though, but that was scrapped in favor of the simpler puzzle game I ended up with. Serves me right for making the music before going far enough in the game programming to know what I'd end up with.

GMCJam07 - Yor Game Theme

77.7 is close to 80; almost 80's sound, but not, It's a lame-yet-perhaps-mildly-clever joke.

I made this a few months back, using 77.7 BPM, though I basically went double time.
The person who inspired me to do this was ENDESGA (Seth / Creator of the NYKRA game), after he tweeted about making a track using 77.7 BPM (he loves the number 7).

p.s. I could've easily gotten better cover art if I stole some other artist's work via Google, but naah, So the art is the work of my own hand, hence the... whateverness.

I basically tried for some kind of "hop" style, with some video game sound, heavy bass, and a bit of that juicy chord action.

This is another older song of mine (if I can call it a song), but it does have some new-ish extended bits.

My own somewhat faithful take on Tubelectric from Jazz Jackrabbit 1.
I've wanted to make my own version of the song for years, so I took a few hours today and made this.

The lower end of the bass is a bit more messy than I'd like, and there are a few things that could use more polish if I was going for a more professional work, but it was just for fun, so this is it.

This is a track I made as part of the Cave Story Remix Project 2 (a.k.a. CSRP2). It's pretty old, and I realize it's got a few mixing issues. Still, there aren't a lot of Access remixes out there, and I'd like to think I did a pretty good job in making Access interesting, unlike the source, as the source is arguably the least interesting track out of the entire OST. Enjoy.

Made this because I enjoy Zelda games. Btw, the art is not mine. I found it on Zerochan (I changed his eye color though because it was kinda purple and I thought it was weird).

Sadly, I have since lost my project files for this and I've had to abandon the WIP. The bass was WIP, so it might be a little funky, and it can be a little empty at parts, do to being a WIP track.

Come on Strong (meh thing)

Mostly just the source with reverb effects and more realistic drum samples. (Note: The pixel art is not mine; it can easily be found through a Google search.)
The drums are a tad bit loud because I screwed up on something and the mix ended up sounding different when exported to mp3. I might fix it, if anyone requests it. Otherwise, it's not too big of a deal.

Wind Fortress REverb - Cave Story Remix/Enhancement

Another kinda old track. My guitar skills have gotten slightly better since this, but I'm still no pro. I don't really practice a ton any more because I'm too busy with work and with developing my indie game.

Bodacious (For lack of a better name)

The high end on this can be a bit harsh, sorry about that. Once again, another old track; I've since learned much more on proper mixing.
