From the "Rozhdeniye Maga" (The Birth of a Magus) EP.

Not related to any particular fantasy universe. It is a reflection on the will to live. The track is centered on the dialogue between the Protagonist and the Death. And the author intentionally leaves it to the listener to interpret the meaning of the song as he might think fit: whether it is about actual physical death, or spiritual death while still being physically alive.

FS Art Metal Projekt (formerly FS PROJEKT) is an independent original fantasy-metal project of Efes (a.k.a. FS) - a Russian composer, arranger, poet, producer, vocalist, guitarist, bassist and drummer.

INDEPENDENT. What really matters for Efes is the integrity of his original creative vision. This vision is totally independent of the tone of the music market or any outside influences whatsoever, as well as free of audience preferences and hip but fleeting trends. FS Art Metal Projekt's songs are created and recorded solely at their author's expense and, thus, on the author's conditions only. In his musical activities Efes has absolutely no obligations to any parties, and this is what allows him to achieve absolute freedom and integrity in his creativity.  

ORIGINAL. Efes has an accomplished original creative vision for both his music, lyrics and artwork, that goes with them. Each FS Art Metal Projekt song is a result of selfless, meticulous and zealous labour in which nothing is left to chance. 

FANTASY-METAL. Fantasy as a genre is the defining concept of FS Art Metal Projekt's songs. However in this case it is to be understood as broadly as possible. FS Art Metal Projekt's songs either draw on themes from certain fantasy universes or are totally independent creative plots presented through fantasy. At the same time in no way does this stylistic concept come down to such notoriously narrow genre as power metal in terms of music and arrangements.

FS Art Metal Projekt (до этого - ФС ПROJEKT) - независимый авторский fantasy-metal проект русского композитора, аранжировщика, поэта, продюсера, гитариста и бас-гитариста Эфеса (отсюда и "FS" в названии проекта).

НЕЗАВИСИМЫЙ. Высшая ценность для Эфеса - целостность его творческого видения, которое не зависит ни от конъюнктуры, ни от какого-либо постороннего или внешнего влияния, ни от пожеланий публики, ни от модных, но скоротечных трендов. Произведения проекта от и до создаются исключительно на средства автора, а, значит, только на его условиях. В своей музыкальной деятельности Эфес не имеет ни перед кем никаких обязательств, и благодаря этому он достигает абсолютной свободы и цельности творчества. 

АВТОРСКИЙ. Эфес обладает законченным авторским видением. Это касается как музыкальной и лирической, так и визуальной составляющих его творчества. Каждая песня - результат фанатичного, скрупулёзного и одержимого труда, который не оставляет ничего на волю случая. 

FANTASY-METAL . Фэнтези как стилистика является определяющей для тематики произведений проекта. Понимается она максимально широко. Сюжеты песен могут касаться как конкретных фэнтези-вселенных, так и представлять собой самостоятельные творческие замыслы, поданные через призму фэнтези-жанра. При этом, такая направленность проекта ни в коей мере не сводит его музыку и аранжировки к весьма узкому жанру power metal.
