Escapee's Journal is a project that I've been working on for six years now. It began with a simple idea that I had when I was nineteen years old and it evolved into my first large-scale project as a composer and musician. The end result is a double album spanning over 90 minutes of wandersome instrumental electronic music. Many of the tracks are musically quite minimalistic without sacrificing detail in terms of production and arrangement.

Although the material on this album is dated and my musical style has evolved since recording it, I'm proud of the work as a whole because of what it represents - a young lad's first endeavour into the world of music. My dream is to compose music for film, TV, video games and pretty much any other commercial uses, and I hope that Escapee's Journal will help me attract the attention of filmmakers and TV producers.

an album i made in march. not sure how to feel about it. just releasing it because it feels like the right thing to do. maybe someone will get something out of it.

i feel like it has some cool creative ideas but its got a lot of mixing issues and the project files were a complete mess. i remembering putting a lot of time into it and it really helped me improve at producing music. I learned a lot as a producer, artist, and person through making this. 

I still love it, in all of its imperfections. its such a time capsule of that time of my life. even though that time is not far away, my life has changed completely since then, the last year has been the most amount of changes ive ever gone through in a year. my life is completely different from a year ago. mostly for the best. i was going through a lot when i made this, so some parts are quite dark, but it does end on what was supposed to be a hopeful note. the sine lead glitching at the end was supposed to symbolize i wasnt safe and that life is a cycle of constantly suffering and finding contentment over and over. so it wasnt completely hopeful.
