Linkin Park was a very important musical reference to me. I've always played their songs in my rock bands and seeing Chester loos to depression really effected me. It affected me because I've been there. A lost a friend on my birthday one year ago the same way and this is freaking scary. 

I've never gave proper importance to this disease and when I expected less there I was: with money and fame... living in Los Angeles... booked at Tomorrowland Belgium... all dreams coming true. How this could ever happen? Could it be because of my though childhood? Because I lost my mother at young age? Could it be any other ordinary issue? There is no answer... It just happen...  To be an artist is sometimes very lonely, sometimes you are your only company and the only one you trust. It is so easy to be frustrated when things go wrong... But this is real for any person in the world in any profession and it was the worst period of my life. 

I had a family, girlfriend, and a few friends (because for most of them I wouldn't mention it) the supported me and I was about to quit and helped me get proper treatment. I was struggling, thinking about how to quit without even understanding what happened to me. I couldn't find joy on anything, I didn't wanted to play or produce...  I wouldn't cry and I wasn't sad... I was just empty. 

Now I'm back on my feat, happy, thankful for all I've conquered and full of energy to fight for what I want so this will never happen again. There is a cure that goes beyond medicine and it is inside each one of us. If I made it anyone can make it but I have to hold on and find your strength. It is hard to be happy when all you can see are problems... but you must see the other side. 

In everything you do be strong and if life lose it purpose seek for help.Life is to be lived with love and there is a lot of people that loves you, I'm sure of that. This is my tribute for two persons: Chester and my friend New. You both inspired me to see life a different way and I hope you are happy whatever you are. Thanks for the lessons you though me.
