This mix was inspired by the loveliest sets I heard live in 2023 -- Colored Craig at Honcho Campout, and Octo Octa & Eris Drew at Making Time. This is my spin on those styles, and also a bit of a sequel to the Hungry for Love mix I made earlier this year. If that mix dealt with the fleeting romance of the disco dream, this revels in the passion, delirium, and gooey mdma-fueled warmth at the heart of the acid house trip.

DREAM MUSIC THEME

After recording a few tracks at Paradox Studios with the help of local artists and friends I started to showcase in small events and car shows meeting new artists as I joined a promotion team. From then on, I met Mr.Geo owner of 915 Records. Mr. Geo later offered me an opportunity to work with him and later became an official artist of his label. Practically grew up with 915 Records till this day. Ventured in between with different artists and labels and performing with major headliners.

Fernando Tarango is a professional vocalist, singer/songwriter, actor and producer.  He has produced and recorded music for MTV, VH1, the Oxygen Network and has been featured as an actor on Southern Comfort’s international ad campaign, Lingo Cops and Old Spice Pure Sport's, "Try it Love it Campaign."  As a recording artist Fernando Tarango has been featured as the solo vocalist with the Grammy Award Winning Pacific Boychoir and albums from Gregorian Chant to Gypsy Swing. 

Fernando began his professional music career at the age of 10, traveling the world, performing and recording with the American Boychoir School, in Princeton, NJ. He continued his musical studies at the University of Michigan earning his degree in Vocal Performance. While living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Fernando sang for professional ensembles such as the Pacific Boychoir Academy, Clerestory, American Bach Soloists and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. Highlights included yearly international tours and premiering the role Mr. Bingley, in Kirke Mechem’s “Pride and Prejudice” in Davies Symphony Hall.

He is currently composing a ‘one man’ multimedia musical and working on his next recording project as the front man for the Americana JazzRock band, the Wickersham Bros.
