This is my heart and soul. 3 years in the making, planning, budgets being promised and never delivered, failed deals, and every struggle an "up and coming" musician could imagine. I was done making music 3 years ago and Izrael Alvarez told me to get in the studio(he's mad i'm giving this away for free.) So, many thanks to Israel Alvarez for recording most of this for free when I was down and out on hard times, this was the only thing that kept me going when I felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. I attended the candlelight vigil for Dion Johnson, and heard his mother's pain in person. I was inspired not only to create a visual piece of art commemorating the life of this young king, known by his nickname "ZULU", but also a song as well. My goal is to bring more attention to this case, and to the GoFundMe of Dion Johnson's family. I will be posting the song later today, with the GoFundMe link. Please donate. Any amount helps. No amount of funds will replace a son lost to senseless police brutality.
