watching all these people getting sloppy
at the end of the bar
sipping on their whiskey
and tripping on their boozy feelings

can't tell if they're just looking for a little connection or 
a warm hand to keep them from the cold
but i'm just sitting here sipping my NA
just watching them grow more bold

and the band is hopping and
crooning at the top of their lungs
as the people press on in
closer than before
