Алексей Флинт — герой 34-го выпуска аудиосериала Кинематика. Его выступление на нашей вечеринке состоится уже в эту пятницу, 4-го июня, в клубе RNDM. 
Палитра занятий Лёши богата. Кроме сочинения музыки и диджеинга, он работает звукорежиссером и является режиссером-документалистом, что позволяет ему со многих сторон наблюдать за жизнью и ее природой. И у нас состоялось интервью.

Артем — Музыка для тебя — что это? Это, например, изучение физики мира и своих чувств об этом?

Алексей — Слушай, это интересно. Мне кажется, музыка — это такая лазейка в мозг человека. Вот у человека есть восприятие зрительное, и эволюционно он научился видеть именно в этом спектре, чтобы, грубо говоря, убегать от хищников и добывать пищу. В этом плане мы сильно отличаемся от других животных, у которых эволюционным путем выработались разные диапазоны чувственного восприятия, оптимизированные для выживания. Человеческий слух, во многом, ориентирован на выживание в дикой природе. И многие вещи, которые мы используем в музыке, эксплуатируют первобытные инстинкты, которые когда-то природа дала как прикладные способности. 
Артем — Природа дала человеку способность эмоционального переживания во время слухового опыта. Мы можем конструировать целые комнаты, полёты. 

Алексей — Да, это и есть та лазейка. Прямо из воздуха можно сделать эмоцию, которой, может, и не было на свете. Суперабстрактная функция, которая не имеет абсолютно никакого прикладного значения. Музыка — это та вещь, которая не нужна, чтобы люди выживали. По крайней мере, непосредственно. Тогда откуда она появилась? В этом ее, музыки, главная загадка. Она из ниоткуда появилась.

Артем — Это прекрасно. Кстати, вот некоторые треки из твоего микса вызвали у меня зрительные ассоциации и ощущение, будто нахожусь в бронированной субмарине, под водой слышу гул басов в воде. Подводное давление. 

Алексей — Люблю за такими ощущениями обращаться к дабстепу, британской бейс-музыке. Там много глубины и интересных, новаторских решений. 

Артем — В какие состояния тебе интересно погружаться с помощью музыки? 

Алексей — Мне нравится именно состояние созерцательности что ли. Треки, которые вызывают ассоциации с какими-то местами. Имеют свою атмосферу. Есть танцевальные треки, в которых я не вижу пространства, а вижу скорее эмоцию, которая преобладает над всеми другими важными вещами и действует напрямую, непосредственно на эмоции. А есть треки, которые, наоборот, у тебя сначала навевают сложные ассоциации с каким-то местом, воспоминанием. И ты погружаешься в ностальгию. Музыка часто вызывает ностальгию. Не потому что ты этот трек когда-то слышал, а именно к самой сути ощущения ностальгии обращается. 

Артем — Хотел спросить тебя, что думаешь про связь транса и драм-н-бейса? 

Алексей — Общее у них то, что эти жанры отжили свой расцвет и упадок. Ведь для многих сейчас драм-н-бейс и транс — это синонимы трэшовой, мусорной музыки. Сегодня это отверженные направления. Понятно, за что их можно ненавидеть — за переизбыток плохих, посредственных треков, эксплуатирующих одни и те же дешевые приемы. Но в каждом жанре есть свое нутро, суть. Мировоззренческий принцип. Тебе может нравиться какой- то дух, воплощенный в определенном звучании. Каждое музыкальное направление ассоциирует с собой определенную этику и эстетику. Поэтому один человек любит хаус, а другой любит индастриал — это разный взгляд на мир, тут вопрос далеко не в темпе и выборе музыкальных инструментов. Поэтому в трансе, драм-н-бейсе и других забытых жанрах интересно откапывать именно то, за что их изначально полюбили. Воссоздавать в воображении дух тех времен, атмосферу тех мест, в которых звучала эта музыка.

Keeping up the spirit, Lahmacun radio is eager to promote and celebrate music from the local Hungarian scene and from passionate labels, collectives and communities, be it anywhere in the world.

This 20-track fundraising compilation is therefore dedicated to Lahmacun radio. It is presented by 10 local and 10 international producers, hailing from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece and Israel. All of us worked and participated in this compilation to help the operation of this very important platform. All income we receive from sales of this V/A goes to support their work."

Inspired by Aldous Huxley's dystopian science fiction novel 'Brave New World', Alva Recek's Soma EP traces its theme of social hierarchy and control... where a world government tries to prevent its people from thinking and speaking freely with the use of a legal drug that is provided daily. To maintain the stability of their forcefully engineered world, authorities encourage the constant consumption of the drug Soma, ensuring the population remains passive and soothed. In the lives of the citizens, if anything should feel wrong, they have Soma to block stressful situations such as pain, grief and anger, and yet the user is completely normal, oblivious to any sort of negative side effects. Soma, supplied in its various strengths, is the perfectly tailored distraction.

The Soma EP outlines characteristics of four hypothetical variations... the softness of the white variety, the moderate dose of yellow, leading to the stronger concentration of orange and finally the ultimate effect of Soma red.

Alva Recek's roots trace back to golden era 80s & 90s hip hop and rave culture, significant backdrops to her progression from a young rapper to a dedicated producer working in numerous genres.
With past collaborations in electronica, jazz fusion and hip hop, and a track recently released on Bass Agenda, Alva comes immersed legit deep in heady electro for this debut EP.

Sasha Rajkovich, aka Zarkoff, member of Sumerian Fleet, NauGrau, FFFC, Kali jugend and other collaborations, has been active in underground music since the mid 90s. EBM, acid and electro are most frequently visited genres in his musical output, with occasional drifts into post punk or techno. He also likes to express himself through lyrics, influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Philip K. Dick or Vladimir Mayakovskij.
For this new EP, he delivers four cold and melancholic synth-electro tracks, inspired by Old Testament and Gnostic teachings about the nature of the Demiurge. All the vocoded and speech synthethised lyrics are direct quotes from King James translation of the Holy Bible. No comments have been provided by the author, only musical context, so listeners will be free to interpret it however they want.
