FUA001 - Fuaim V/A

Next up we have Dublin native @siofraa in the mix! Síofra’s mixes traverse the exciting modern mutations of the house and progressive sounds as heard in her guest features for DUDJ, Gash Collective & Efa O’Neill’s Out Of Space DDR show, to name a few. This is an expansive, bouncy selection of club tracks that’s sure to get you moving.

Founder of Vénus Club (@venusclubofficiel - female-only collective), music journalist, activist, passionate digger, talented dj,.. the list goes on - for the latest feature, Paris-based @abs8lute has delivered a 50 minute blend of cosmic trance and rave sounds. Her Fuaim mix boasts exactly the adrenaline-fueled sound we got to love from her, so strap in for this auditory journey through the steaming sounds of the dancefloor.

Fuaim Mix 007 | ABS8LUTE

Sligo native Spray has been shifting gears in the scene and is killing it on all fronts as of late. Through his brilliant ear for party bangers and a raw dedication to deep digging, Spray has launched as a reissue label for older records that never got the credit they deserved first time round. With a killer first release last year including an A2 remix from Or:la, the label has taken the scene by storm, seeing plenty support from DJs across the globe.

Wasting no time, Tiernan dives deep into a propulsive assembly of proggy house delights, blissful trance vibes and euphoric bangers all the way through. Lock in for a one hour masterclass of infectious grooves from the incredibly talented DJ/label Spray!

Following an explosive breakthrough via internet radio with features on the likes of Rinse France, DIA! & Refuge Worldwide, Bambi has been seen on an impressive roster of club & festival shows across France for the likes of Dixmontel, Supercamp, and regular showcases at Macadam, to name a few. Her ear for cutting edge trance has lead to her sharing lineups with the likes of Byron Yeates, Christian Coiffure & many more.

For Celia's Fuaim mix, she has provided an effortlessly smooth blend of the psychedelic textures of prog, trance, techno, and even a little bit of jungle. Hope you enjoy this mix as much as we did!

This weeks mix is provided to us by South Korean DJ/Producer @methejohn. 

Following his first release on @goddezztemple not so long ago, John has been on the up and up and has composed an array of dreamy productions. 

As for his contribution to the series we are whisked through flawless journey of deep, rich proggy bouncers, out of body breakdowns and impeccable pacing throughout.

Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Don Chich  has a natural affinity to the mystical, psychedelic and spiritual sounds of the 90s. He is a true digger and craftsman of ambient, downtempo, chillout, trance, progressive and goa soundscapes.

Don Chich treats us to a driving, powerful and dark progressive and goa journey exploring the depths of the psyche. With a heavy dose of brooding 303s, soaring pads, tasteful stabs and subsonic baselines; this mix transports you to those early mornings on the dark dance floors and warehouses.

Your mind is the only necessity in order to fly.

With a background in classical and contemporary dance, London-based queer DJ HENDERSON's sets tend to have a strong focus on groove throughout. With a regular show starting this month on Netil Radio and sharing lineups with the likes of Angel D'lite, Goddezz Temple, Marie Malarie and many more, HENDERSON is starting to make a name for themselves in the London queer-scene.

For their mix, they serve us a blend of hypnotic grooves, hard hitting breaks layered with emotional vocals and of course, lots and lots of euphoric trance.

After a short break we’re back for the 22nd edition of our mix series and this time we’re delighted to welcome Australian producer/dj @anyoneknowsuki

Will has been producing music since he was young, however it was during/after Covid he really made a name for himself in the Melbourne scene and further with releases on labels such as Holding Hands Records, Aquaregia, Dansu Discs, eleven and Haws being played at clubs and festivals all over the world. 

For Will’s mix he showcases his broad taste in music and creative capability as we are taken on a frictionless journey trough an hour of deep, funky, and slippery psy-infused breaks and prog that make for a perfect mid-week listen, enjoy!

Richard is one of the great minds behind the legendary SUB:SYSTEM, a party run throughout undiscovered warehouse spaces in London. The SUB:SYSTEM community has become a staple in the underground nightlife and rave scene in the capital, and has pioneered a space for expression and exploration into the psychedelic sound of the incredible roster of DJs and artists that have soundtracked their parties over the years.

As a DJ he has a deep, expansive understanding of the prog-rolling, euphoric and psychedelic space. Through his mixes Richard never fails to create a continual state of hypnosis and energy with trance-inducing drums and throbbing synths throughout. With this mix we’re treated to an hour of old school, undiscovered rollers. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!

Fuaim Mix 025 | Richard Gregory

Back for the 28th edition of our mix series and it’s a special one!

The extremely talented amuwa treats us to a 2hr set recorded live at lovejoy’s re:charge last month! Prepare to be swept through an echoing maze of tantalising textures as heavy hitting, tripped out bass and minimal psy summit towards a DnB finale.
As well as being a stellar dj Joshua has displayed a wonderful selection of productions, his “Force Majeure” ep needs no introduction getting countless plays throughout 2022. Rolling subs and propulsive drums are engineered for impact, couched within mutating synth arrays for truly hypnotic dance floor experiences.
On top of all this Joshua is responsible for the consciously curated party unsung in Sydney.

Fuaim Mix 028 | amuwa (@ lovejoy’s re:charge)

Those who have been lucky enough to attend a @fandangoberlin party will know exactly what type of energy @markgill444 brings to the floor, and this mix channels exactly that into an hour of spring dancefloor energy. Originally hailing from Dublin, Mark has since curated parties and communities in spaces worldwide, including (but certainly not limited to) Brazil, Ukraine, and his current home in Berlin. His broad & global musical influences shine strongly through his sets, creating a seasoned blend of grooves so evident in this mix.

Mark and the Fandango crew (big shouts to @taniajust, @davezerave and everybody else involved) are the epitome of effectively creating community through dance music, something which can often feel rare within the often  clique-based circuit that is so ever popular within the Berlin club scene. If you happen to be in Berlin this weekend be sure not to miss the FandangoHyperTherapy crossover this Sunday between themselves, @hypersoft__ and @grouptherapy.cph!

Fuaim Mix 030 | Mark Gill

It’s been quite some time since we last put out a mixtape on the Fuaim series, and we’re delighted to kickstart things again with a feature from NYC talent jek. Jack has been making quite the name for himself within the US scene, all the while gaining plenty of traction across the pond, with the first release of his Earth Dog Records (@earthdogbk) imprint coming out earlier this year.

Recorded live at Nowadays (@nowadaysnyc) back in September for Aurora Halal’s (@itsallhalal) residency, this mix effortlessly glides from deep & dubby tones to bouncy, pumping club tracks. It’s one of them mixes that epitomizes the development of an opening slot, maneuvering it’s way through a myriad of psychedelic textures before handing over to Maara (@maara) on the night.

London-based @cher_ub (co-founder of Tussle) joins us for the latest edition of the Fuaim series!

It's not often a mixtape can showcase a true DJs personality, but Cherub's contribution to the Fuaim series is exactly that. This tape is a journey through the crates of punk-prog and psychedelic sounds that span generations of electronic music.

@dimenzionedanza co-founder and @clubheartbroken resident @evindj joins us for the first Fuaim mix of the year. Having recently joined the roster at @leftbanktbilisi, she has gone from strength to strength, with a string of recent shows across Europe, and much more on the horizon. 

This mix embodies exactly that Dimenzione Danza sound - the sweet spot bridging sonic generations of hard-hitting house, trance and techno with timeless euphoria. This one is straight in from the get-go, a power hour of driving grooves and seductive bass-lines.

Whomp head-honcho ANNX joins us for the latest edition of the Fuaim series with a club-ready blend of psy-tinged rhythms and prog rollers. 

Anna has gone from strength to strength in recent years, appearing on lineups with the likes of Above Below festival, Gloria @ Macadam, and many many more. Her sound is refined beyond her years, showcasing sounds of stripped back progressive and psytrance proving her relentless skills as a digger.

Her talents as a promoter are no less. Co-running the Whomp party with Lora Mipsum, and more recently perspectives.ldn, she has become a staple for psychedelic music on London's club circuit.

Amsterdam-based duo Match Box are renowned for their driving approach to dance music that simultaneously feels both nostalgic and modern. With recent releases on Radiant Records & Goddezz, the pair have solidified their sound, having grown up surrounded by classic Dutch&UK records from the 90s.

As we enter into the summer months, Bull Horris' contribution to the Fuaim series is a much needed shot of sunshine. This vinyl-only mix is a carefully crafted blend of playful & energetic sounds of euro and progressive trance. 

Dublin based DJ and visual artist Bull has been a consistent presence in the local and international scene over the past few years. Tender co-founder and resident for Strawberries, their love of the dancefloor and the cathartic moments it can bring translates into the music that can be heard throughout each set.

To kick off our mix series, Bristol-based Faery (@freyacaldwell) joins us with 1.5hrs of unconventional trance and dark psychedelic techno. With plenty of off-kilter, intoxicating sounds in her sets, it's  no surprise that she has landed herself a monthly residency at Bristol's @1020radio. Lock in to experience the dreamy haze she creates with her mixes.

No stranger to the Irish club scene, @eoindj has appeared on an impressive roster of shows both at home and abroad over the past few years. For the fourth edition of the series, Eoin takes us on an hour long trip packed full of contagious energy and euphoric grooves in what feels like an effortless example of his skills in the booth – it’s not one to miss!
