The ever prolific Sublease Music puts out another sublime release, this time handing the floor to combined talents of  Markus Homm, Brad Brunner and AG Swifty. 

Markus Homm is a veteran of the house and tech scene, and a regular at some of the scenes’ foundational venues such as Berghain. His collaborators might have less experience, but bring a whole new flavour to the cooking pot. 

"Connected not only through being part of the same booking agency in Romania (Cyclic), but also through the love for grooving underground  Music, we ended up in the Studio In Bukarest for a few days working on some music. This is the outcome of the session, grooving percussions with the rolling baseline and warm chords and stabs." says Homm.

The Big Con is an urgent, driving slice of stripped down house - the jittery percussion adds a tense edge to the hypnotic groove. The track maintains its energy throughout, with some nice variations and shifting melodic elements. 

Sleeping Dogs is also on the pared down vibe, beginning with a tough kick that eventually opens up into a warm, deep roller.

Tripmastaz AKA Andrew Guyvoronsky debuts for Cadenza Lab with the ‘Blossomz’ single; a trio of heady club cuts that typifies his hypnotising house sound and knack for the perfect groove. 

Originating from Moscow’s music scene, and slowly emerging as one of the more renowned Russian producers to influence global labels, Andrew has released music for Richie Hawtin’s Minus imprint, DJ Sneak’s own Magnetic Records, as well as other appearances on Cécille Records, Desolat and Shanti, all proving fantastic platforms for his minimal sound and guided musical expressions. 

Aside from his productions, Tripmastaz who runs his own label, 74 Records, has also held a residency at the impressive rooftop party Techno Gipsy since 2013, a further accreditation to his career as a Producer and DJ. With an illustrious remix career to match, collaborations with DJ Sneak have pushed him toward close affiliations with the House Gangster Movement and the funky side of house music so clearly important to his work. 

Lead track, ‘Blossomz’, opts for a captivating percussive groove, whilst vocal samples are put through the wormhole to create rhythmic effects; fans of Mountain People/Sasha Dive will lap up this vibe for sure.  ‘Sublimely Relieved (Cuban Linx)’ raises the energy level somewhat; a snaking bassline slithers around the crisp drum pattern seductively, as light keys sprinkle over the dubby house sound.  A ‘Bass Dub’ is also offered up, offering an alternate take to round off the release with added weight.

Coming from Romania, Alexander Fabyann has been active in the electronic music scene since the age of 20, gathering a significant number of fans and appreciation for his work. After several years of work, he traveled for some time to Spain and Greece, through the islands of Rhodes, Crete and Palma de Mallorca, places that helped him gain experience and cultural diversity to return to Romania.

In full ascension, Fabian is confirmed at festivals and parties on the electronic music stages next to famous names in the industry. He approaches TechHouse and Minimal Tech genres in his sets, managing to capture with beats and the overflowing energy inspired by the public.

Fabian has been confirmed at festivals such as Hustle Festival (Soho Stage) 2021, Deep Forest Fest 2021 (2022), Mirage Festival (Jordan) 2022, Arrival Festival 2023, Summer Spell 2023 and other promising ongoing projects on stage with renowned artists such as Dubfire, Hot Since 82, Super Flu, Piero Pirupa, Mark Knight, Mat Joe, Tube & Berger, Manson Maynard, Boxia, Alex Mine, Wehbba, Raffael Rizzi, DSF, Arapu, Cally, Charlie, Gescu, Lizz, Priku, Bryz, soundopamine, Floog, Brad Brunner, Just2, Adrian Eftimie, Andre Rizo, Optick, Slash & Dope and many more.
