With 'Iyewaye', the first solo-EP after the release of his fifth album 'I am OK' last year, Oliver Koletzki shows himself in a new, but not altogether unfamiliar light: since his breakthrough in 2005 with 'Der Mückenschwarm' Koletzki hasn't sounded this hard. 	

Gone is the pop-angle, replaced by a dark sound-aesthetic and raw energy. But even here, in the Techno realm, Oliver Koletzki demonstrates his inimitable sense for melody: thus, the gloomy and driving framework of 'Iyewaye' is lit up by a crystal-clear synth-sequence. Similarly, 'Ipuza', which hypnotizes by way of reduction and repetition, is funky in its core thanks to a rolling tribal groove. Functional, but with heart and soul.

As a teaser for the new record of labelhead Funkwerkstatt, which will be released by the beginning of 2018, Superfancy Recordings presents a new interpretation of their classic hit “Melodien für Millionen”. The remix has been produced by Superfancy wonder boy Stephan Zovsky. In his rough cut mix he combines the original catchy vocals with a pumping techno groove and a hypnotic moog bassline. The result is a peaktime monster track which will drive the crowd on the dancefloor crazy.

Thiel hatte schon fast das Ende seines täglichen Kontrollgangs entlang der Gleise erreicht, als er ein leises Scheppern wahrnahm, das mit jedem Meter lauter wurde.
Bush. Bash. Bush. Bash.
War das etwa Musik? Um diese Uhrzeit? Direkt neben den Gleisen? Leicht erzürnt beschleunigt der Bahnwärter seine Schritte und steuert auf einige Container der ansässigen Eisenbahngesellschaft zu, die neben einem Abstellgleis gelagert wurden. Mittlerweile war die Musik zu einem dumpfen Brettern angewachsen und als Thiel um die Ecke eines der Container kam, traf ihn der Schlag. Überall fröhliche Menschen die sich ekstatisch bewegten und sichtlich den Verstand verloren hatten! Er wollte schon die Pozileiwache alarmieren, als er merkte, dass sich seine Beine offenbar verselbstständigt hatten und ihn im Rhythmus der Musik zu der ausgelassenen Meute tanzen ließen.
Als die Sonne wieder aufging fand sich der Bahnwärter halbnackt an vorderster Front der Tanzenden wieder, mit einem breiten Grinsen auf dem sonst so ausdruckslosen Gesicht. Was heute Nacht geschehen war, verstand er noch nicht ganz, doch er wusste, dass sein Leben von nun an andere Pfade einschlagen würde.

In diesem Sinne DANKE BushBash für diese geile Nacht im Bahnwärter Thiel! <3
