Power no longer needs to kill in public. It persuades, reframes, waits, redirects.
Legitimacy is argued on screens. Violence is processed into language. Guilt doesn’t stain hands — it loops in private, as numbers, feeds, notifications that won’t settle.

The first half charts ascent: prophecy as feedback, certainty masquerading as destiny, shortcuts justified in advance. Meaning flips. Action feels inevitable. The crown arrives quietly.

The second half is aftermath. Sleep disappears. Allies become risks. Nothing explodes — everything persists. The real horror isn’t exposure, but attention that won’t move. The modern “damned spot” isn’t blood — it’s the fear that something will trend if you touch it, deny it, explain it, or even look away.

Lady Macbeth doesn’t collapse publicly. She vanishes privately.
The system continues.

Inspired by Macbeth, but set in a world of feeds, drill cadence, legitimacy theatre, and algorithmic consequence, MacTrump isn’t a satire or a portrait. It’s a diagnosis of how power now works — and how it fails without ever being punished.

What’s done doesn’t trend.
