The breaks arrive frenetic, sharp, and jazzy. Beautifully unhinged. But even in full momentum, Ezzrei’s touch is cinematic. The original sample doesn’t sit behind the drums—it leads them, glowing like a signal fire through the haze.

Fierce but devotional, the whole track is textured with intention. Ezzrei cracked open a soulful classic, stitched it to adrenaline, and made it bloom again—louder, faster, and sky-bound.

Guy Fawkes wasn’t just the man with the mask—he was a soldier, a rebel, and a symbol of defiance. Born in 1570 in York, England, he fought as a mercenary in Europe before returning to join the infamous Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Alongside other conspirators, Fawkes planned to blow up the English Parliament and King James I, striking back at what they saw as religious tyranny.

He was caught in the act—guarding the barrels of gunpowder in the dead of night. Tortured in the Tower of London, he never betrayed his friends, giving only the name “John Johnson.” For this, some see him not as a villain, but as a martyr to the cause of freedom, a man who stood against oppression with fire in his hands.

Centuries later, his legend transformed. His mask—immortalized in V for Vendetta—became the face of protest, uprising, and resistance against corrupt power. Every November 5th, bonfires light across Britain, fireworks roar in the sky, and the rhyme is repeated:
