With influences ranging from Social Distortion, The Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, Flogging Molly & Steve Earle it is hard to pigeon-hole them into any current genre so a new one has had to be created – welcome to basterdised country punk.

Don’t expect any ballads or songs full of hope. This is an album of crunching riffs and despair for the world both in the past and future.
The Devils rejects are fronted by founder member Matt Williams who is responsible for most of the lyrics he sings. Matt also plays guitar alongside Chris Read who drives his Gibson to the limits.

Briony Ireland plays the accordion and keyboards on the album as well as the fiddle in their live shows. The rhythm section is powered by the 13th drummer Olie Rance and Rick Hardy on bass guitar.

Fuelled By Cider turned Matt’s house in Knitson just outside Swanage into a recording studio in early April 2013. James “The Kif” Pagella from Alive Music engineered, produced and mixed the album with a bit of assistance from Fuelled By Cider’s Mike Lacey.
