Since its inception in 2018, Fugamental has been an auditory journey that transcends the conventional. It's the fusion of 'Fuga' (Escape) and 'Mente' (Mind), symbolizing an immersive escape from the confines of the mind through music.

Fugamental's inspiration is deeply rooted in synthesized sounds and the nostalgic aura of the 70s and 80s. Each track is an intricate tapestry of classic and modern elements, where vintage synthesizers meet contemporary rhythms, creating a unique experience for the listener. This approach pays homage to the influences of iconic artists like Idris Muhammad and Bacao Rhythm, as well as the inventiveness of Desmond Cheese, Karl Hector, and Anchorsong.

Furthermore, the project is not limited to the boundaries of electronic music. There's a subtle, yet distinct, touch of rock that intertwines in the compositions, a tribute to the producer's versatile roots. This eclectic mix is complemented by the influences of visionary artists like Onra, Richard Houghten and Populous.
