This is the theme for the latest alien race to be revealed from Into the Stars.

These fearsome and prideful creatures rely on raiding and taking species for the empire they’ve built on the sweat and blood of those they enslave. Utilizing captured vessels they lay in ambush, tricking ships into thinking they are simple traders. Once in range, they pounce on unsuspecting ships, enslaving the inhabitants and sending them off to auction on their home planet. The Menkhet believe their species to be superior to all others and they see humans as weak, to be crushed and enslaved like so many others.

A clever and intelligent species, the Thurokk hail from a distant galaxy. Their lack of visible emotion ties closely to their cold and calculating nature. They rely heavily on technology but are deeply rooted in ritual. Every 20 years they make a pilgrimage to their home region, meditating and planning the future of their species. Their constant expansion of colonies has led to a vast empire, rich in trade resources.
