Recorded at Oslo’s iconic Rainbow Studio with engineer Jan Erik Kongshaug, the record features works by both Howard and bassist Jonathan Zion (Anton Delecca Quartet, Lior, Ian Moss). Joined by drummer Daniel Farrugia (Tin Pan Orange, Julia Stone, Magnolia), the trio’s minimalist aesthetic blends elements of improvised and popular music.

Fugues is a collective/nebula created in Paris in 2005, later refocused around the tandem formed by founding member Jerome Olivier (words & ideas) and Julie Calbert (photographs). 

Fugues gave birth to a collection of contemplative prose writings and photographies in 2006, then launched a series of concerts in Paris, France as well as some exclusive CD-R compilations (the 'unreleased tracks' trilogy, 2007-2009).
