"Suimon" - It is the shape that is formed when rain reaches the ground and spreads in ripples.

In Japan, there is a rainy season called "tsuyu" which moistens the earth, nurtures plants, and gives mountains a lush green color. Every time I witness this scenery, I feel a sense of peace and tranquility within me. It is during this season of incessant rain that I was inspired to create this work.

水紋

When you are faced with great difficulties, and deep sadness overwhelms you, when you cannot move forward anymore and stand frozen, I wanted to create a song that gently comforts you and stays by your side, born from such thoughts.

Compassion

The Sound of Raindrops on the Window
The sound of cars splashing water, heard in the distance
The occasional wind passes through the trees

On a rainy night like today, I gently close my eyes
And surrender myself to the world of rain sounds.

Rain

I was lost in thought while gazing out the window at the cars passing by in the rain at midnight. The rain had been pouring down and I couldn't see the outside world clearly. I watched as the cars passed by, their lights shining and splashing through puddles, evoking an indescribable sense of loneliness.
Lost in thought, I pondered the past, the future, and the meaning of life as I found it difficult to be alone in this rain. I felt a desire to try something new but lacked the courage to do so. When alone, I found it difficult to believe in myself.
As the cars drove away and the window grew quiet, I asked myself, "What do I want? What do I need?" I confronted myself and searched for the answers.

長谷小学校の子どもたちとの出会いから
全校児童に歌詞をを募集しました。
それを元に深瀬人寛が作詞・作曲、アレンジを手掛けました。
また、C L A M P（バイクショップ／長野県伊那市）で行われたイベント
「オトトコトノハvol.1」にて子どもたちと一緒にレコーディングをして完成した楽曲。
