Hammack a sociologist, Jessica Tracy a psychotherapist, Victoria Heilweil a feminist artist, a cultural producer, Victorian Montaño an Indigi Queer interdisciplinary artist, and Nicole Gervacio a social justice media maker and dancer reflecting on queer resilience, revalations, and revolution.  As well as what we need to bring forward into 2022.  This queering of time and space provided by Ms. Rona and her cousins is nowhere near over (which will only occur once the entire world is vaccinated) and we must evolve.  

COVID 19 instituted a global pause which led many to reexamine, rethink, and redefine relationships in most if not all aspects of living.  And what the world needs is healing and transformation.  If we reflect, remember and redefine what is possible based on socially just priorities we will shift and transform culture into a more democratic and inclusive society. We must remember these insights and use them to redesign social structures and systems emanating from a foundation of repair and care.

Later we’ll hear from the ILWU local 6, they have walked off the job at Georgia Pacific in Antioch, one of Antioch’s largest employers. And we’ll close out the show with some sound from the 10 year anniversary memorial  for Pedie Perez, the unarmed young man who was killed by Richmond police in 2014.

This Week On Full Circle, we turn our eyes and ears back to Palestine, Yemen and the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil. On tonight’s show, we’ll hear from Sen. Chris Murphy D-CT and Pacifica Radio’s Democracy Now about the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil the Columbia University graduate that was arrested last week and the protests that followed. Then we’ll check in with Jon Elmer of the Electronic Intifada. He hosts the Resistance Report, a weekly segment of the Electronic Intifada. Jon will give us an update on the way Israel has broken the agreements of the ceasefire over one thousand times. After that, Jon will give us an update on Anser Allah aka the Houthi Rebels, and the naval blockade of shipments to Israel in the Red Sea.

On this episode of Full Circle we bring it back here to the Bay Area and bring you news from a recent press conference and some information about an upcoming event coming to the Bay Area. We will hear voices from a press conference and rally opposing the early release of former Contra Costa County Sheriff Deputy Andrew hall. He actually killed two men suffering from a mental health crisis on two different occasions. He was convicted in one of the killings but was released from San Quentin after serving less than half of his six year sentence. We will bring you an update from the press conference and rally. Then we'll bring you some news and information about the Mumia Freedom From Frame Up Tour. Mumia Abu Jamal's son Jamal will be passing through the Bay Area talking about the fight to free his father. Their lawyer working on the case, Rachel Wolkenstein will be joining us for an update.

This week on Full Circle, we’ll speak with an activist on the frontlines of the battle with ICE abducting our friends, families and neighbors. We'll talk about what happened in San Francisco on Tuesday when protesters put their bodies on the line while attempting to block ICE from abducting a person at immigration court. This activist also recently returned from the West Bank in Palestine as she worked with the International Solidarity Movement, serving as a protective presence. We'll talk about that as well. And we will close out the show with a quick update on a free mental health event tomorrow in Pittsburg.

 On tonight’s show we find out about different kinds of essential workers and what they do,  maybe you are more essential than you think. We will speak with  Dr. Stephanie Rogers from right here in the bay area working out of  UCSF about our elders in care facilities and the pro’s and con’s of bringing them home during the Covid 19 crisis. Then we will get an update from ECHO Housing on the different ways municipalities are working to protect their residents from losing their housing during this crisis. Later we learn about immigrant workers, documented or not, they are in many of the essential worker jobs. Are we taking care of them as they help take care of America? Find out when we speak with Pablo Alvardo of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network.
