Song Synopsis – A sly, witty alt-indie track that blends neuroscience with Northern bluntness that explores how our brains bend reality without asking permission. 

From dodgy neural decorators to dopamine dealers, it toys with the idea that perception is nothing more than a well-rehearsed magic trick. With nods to Kahneman, Tversky, and visual illusions like the McCollough effect, the song turns cognitive bias into a danceable conspiracy urging listeners to embrace the lies we live in and make them beautiful.

Your brain’s a dodgy decorator, painting over cracks,
Guessing where the colour goes, cutting all the facts.
Purple? Not real, just a mash-up in your head,
Like a rumour that got louder till you swore it was said.

Free will’s on paper, but the ink won’t dry,
