A 140bpm tabla groove is set immediately, joined shortly after by cleverly weaving vocal chops. Creating a mix series gives us a chance to reach out to some of the artists who we really enjoy and for HER Transmission 014, we are really happy to bring to you this incredible live recording from Melbourne techno queen, Lara K.

Lara K makes electronic dance music that combines vocals with expansive synths and glitchy drums, often self-releasing these works to her SoundCloud and Bandcamp pages. She was a featured artist on the IF records compilation Zeitgeist IV and has opened as live support for acts such as Norman Nodge, Dasha Rush, and Etapp Kyle. In 2020, Lara K will be releasing a lot more music, stay ready.
