Big love to VXRGO for this killer of a mix! Been following her progress for a while and it's such a pleasure to get her involved with our mix series. 

VXRGO is a raver first and foremost. She's currently listening to a lot of IZCO, Kid Lib, FFF, Tim Reaper, Stretch, Flight, Mantra, Omni Trio as well as many of those from the ragga jungle scene.

  "I started raving for fun back in 2019, ultimately falling in love with the scene and felt lost without raves during lockdown and the love for genres I'd heard during childhood were reignited in this time, and being in these underground spaces and feeling the way I felt, I knew I had to do more which brings me to my current journey of DJing"

Welcome back to a new season on 0860.fm. First up a tape recorded by @charlie_mcfarley of Kool FM in 1994. Written on the tape is DJ Hype, 94.5 but on closer inspection the tape contains many snippets of different shows - Hype with Teka and Remadee, Pressure X with Cutlass and Times 2, Tonic with Bluesy Gee and Remadee. These mad mashup tapes were actually quite commoin and everyone had one - they’d live by the radio and when you heard a tune you liked you’d record.

0860 is an album, mixtape, radio station and interview series that explores the history and legacy of Pirate Radio and its importance in the development of UK underground music.

New for October 2023 is a 4 track EP ‘All of The Massive’ ft 3 new and 1 previously unreleased tracks.

0860.fm MIX #11 'Various' KOOL FM 1994

For this show I was joined by Domz (label owner of Amen Warfare Records) to make his first appearance on Jungletrain despite the two of us doing other shows together in the past.

He has had releases on PPJ, Yeska Beatz and 36 Hertz to name a few and was a mainstay on the old Kool FM for 11 years but is now playing every Saturday 6-8pm on Underground Bass where you can check his shows out on his Twitch (DJDomzUK) and Youtube (DJDomz) channels.
You will tend to find him participating in Bizzy B's "Dubplate Warz" show, which he has won a couple of times now.

Those of you familiar with him will know what to expect but for those that don't, expect amens mainly with elements of hardcore and jungle with various influences thrown into the melting pot.

I had PC issues towards the end of the show hence why the last 15 minutes is missing.
