Heavily influenced in drum and bass from a young age due to her parents being ravers, DJ Z fell in love with the music herself and decided to start her journey as a DJ back in 2021 and hasn't stopped since. From there she has managed to create a style of different blends that turns people heads within her mixes, playing different genres on DnB from jump up, 4x4, rollers, neuro and even jungle.

Tianna Franxx is a DJ, singer/songwriter from Barnet in North London/Herts with a deep passion for face-melting bass music. While her roots lie in DnB, Jungle, and Dubstep, she’s a lover of all music and anything that makes bodies move! Music and the energy of live performances have always been her outlets for expression. She enjoys crafting sets that take listeners on a journey, blending classic tunes with fresh sounds, and combining interesting and dynamic blends and transitions. She has been featured on guest mixes with Thames Delta, Brixton Radio, Code Red Radio, and Origin UK as well as performing at renowned UK festivals like Shindig, Boomtown, Shambala, and Equinox with Break The Code Collective. Recently, she has been spinning tunes in London with Original Jungle Warfare and In The Blood Presents, among others. She is also a resident DJ with SkankOut, Teez, and Dystopia. This summer you can expect her appearance again at said festivals as well as joining Unorthodox on 21st July! Franxx cares for her community and offers open mic events that are open to all voices and levels of experience. She is also the visionary behind Teez DnB, an exciting new drum and bass event based in North London which stems from her love and passion for the dance scene, whilst bringing inclusivity and diversity to the line-ups! It is clear to see the passion she has for music and the rave scene she grew up in. She is currently learning to produce and is expected to have collaborated releases out by the end of this year.

#87 Tianna Franxx

Fireworks Factory is a Bristol-based DJ from London. From his roots producing indie electronic jams as a teenager, he moved onto making drum and bass with influences ranging from jungle and hardcore to ambient and hyperpop. A gay member of the scene known for using his own vocals in his productions, he champions self-expression in dance music with an eclectic, genre-fluid approach to mixing. Have a listen if you want to hear fast breakbeats, colourful drops and a couple surprises thrown in the mix.

Astralis is a 24 year old multi genre DJ whose heart lies with minimal DnB! 

Having first fell for electronic music from her Mum's influences, Astrails loves trying to find techy blends with minimal drum patterns. Although not yet a producer, this is a goal for Astralis. 

Since properly starting to play out last year, she's played at the likes of Thekla for Brown Excellent, Take 5 for Disjointed and in Cardiff for Backpack Productions. While travelling, she has recently also played her debut headline set in La Paz! 🇧🇴

The 90th installment of our mix series comes courtesy of Oxfordshire-based DJ and producer Dysfunction. 

 Hot on the heels of the release of their Gather No Moss EP on Audio Entropy Recordings, and building on their catalogue of guest mixes for the likes of 1 More Thing and No Reality, the 24 year old brings us an eclectic blend of soulful liquid, minimal and neuro, featuring several first plays of their upcoming bits.

Glitchgirl is a spanish multigenre electronic music producer and dj, living in Liverpool. She's been influencing the music and scenes around her with her balaclava on, her loudness, her harsh critique of society and her hope for individuals and communities to come together. Her style of music is hard and sounds like the most annoying noise you've ever heard and is music to break stuff to. She screams in her live shows over her beats and in her dj sets she smashes bangers creating a new story with her constant and impatient drops. Her mixes are just anything that she likes or finds funny mixed with anything that she likes or finds funny, and she never plays music that she doesn't like. Her years of fine arts degree and masters in museum management, clarinet and piano classical music training have been wasted in her songs about how garlic bread is good. Has played more than 300 shows in her life. Has always been unapologetically multigenre, since her beginnings almost 10 years ago.

GAIA is a London based DnB DJ specialising in liquid, minimal and the deeper side of the genre.  She takes the crowd on a journey through her sets, playing older classics blended with new and  upcoming artists. 
She has over 10 years experience of playing out and promotion across a wide variety of genres.  Her journey began in rock and metal where she ran various clubnights, moving into electric genres  and focusing on DnB over the past 2 years. She played various local sets and was then  approached to play Fabio’s Tribe night at XOYO, kicking off a series of high profile bookings. 
She has played venues across the UK including Ministry of Sound, Corsica Studios, Electric  Brixton, Colour Factory, Volks and more.  
She holds a Saturday night residency on KOOL FM. 
She has played for a variety of major labels including Liquicity, Shogun, Hospitality and Overview.

I am Hannah, also known as Miss Medik, a writer and music producer from Somerset. I am a classically trained musician, with qualifications up to grade eight in flute, grade six in piano, and grade six in music theory. In addition to my classical background, I am a DJ and produce mostly liquid and orchestral drum and bass.

Since childhood, I have been immersed in music, playing piano and singing in choirs under the guidance of my mum, who is a professional piano and singing teacher.

I had SUCH a blast putting this mix together for my very dear Full Spectrum family, celebrating some of my favourite tunes and producers across the spectrum of 160/Jungle/Hardcore/Drum and Bass. The selection features lots of fantastic Bristol producers from the Bristol 160/footwork/jungletechno scene as well as those sitting squarely in the drum and bass tradition, along with some absolute legends of the scene. All with a strong nod to 90s and 00s rave scenes and plentiful fun edits. This is how I LOVE to party and very typical of the vibe and energy of a Neon Pumps dancefloor set.

Neon Pumps is a rising producer, live artist and DJ. Her signature sound is a riot of colourful, 130-180 bpm genre-bending bass-driven selections featuring polyrhythmic cross-genre blends that build energy and excitement on the dancefloor.

Neon Pumps is a life-long music enjoyer who finally reached for a dream of DJing and producing music in 2022 and has not looked back. Her first foray into production was selected for release as an official remix of Yarni’s Red Meander, with a debut album of her own productions - Cat Nav - released later the same year, described by Strictly Nu Skool blog as: ““A tour de force of breaks, jungly idm and glitch -  Aphex Twin vibes but much more danceable.” This was followed by a techno-leaning EP -  Catch Fire - released in October 2024 and picked up by BBC Introducing for airplay and inclusion in their pilot R&D platform Orbit. She is currently working on a second album to be released in the early summer of 2025.

As a DJ she has supported acts including Marshall Jefferson, DMX Krew, Deekline, Wolfgang Flür of Kraftwerk, Nicky Blackmarket, DJ Queen Bee, Echo Juliet and 4am Kru. She also hosts a monthly residential radio show on Red Rebel FM, and is the founder of Big Sis DJs, a collective platforming female DJs age 30+. She runs a regular clubnight ‘Good Neighbours’ in Bristol with other Stroud DJs, and performs with Bristol DNB collective Full Spectrum.

Neon Pumps’ live shows push the boundaries between genres, enticing audiences to travel through perfectly curated dancefloor-ready soundscapes. Her sound ranges between techno, breakbeat and jungle - all underpinned by a pop sensibility and an ear for melody which can’t help but make you smile and dance at the same time.

Arcturius has recently been invited to several international shows, such as BBC Radio 1 with Charlie Tee, Keeno's Bristol Mix Sessions, Drum & Bass Fresh Files at Radio F.R.E.I. and several guest mixes for the Interstellar Audio crew.

But, from their very first rave, they knew they belonged in the EDM world. And since then, nomi began crafting their unique sound: drum and bass with saxophone.
 
They love to produce mainline, liquid, drum step, and 4x4. Imagine the ethereal, intense energy of Synergy and Rawtekk, matched with the groovey undertones of GRiZ and Peekaboo - high-energy drums, vibrant vocals, and gritty basslines. Hi, my name is Zaba the Frog. 

I’m a genre-blending DJ with an unbelievable passionate love for music. 

I specialise in drum and bass, but I’ve never confined myself to one style. I focus on open-format sets that feature everything from jungle, electro-swing, trance, house, and garage and try my best to craft something touching and beautiful that also pushes boundaries.

Beyond mixing, I am an English teacher that tries to bring literature to life through music, transforming iconic works like The Great Gatsby, 1984, War and Peace, and War of the Worlds into dynamic, storytelling-driven DJ sets. I’ve landed guest mixes for Circuit Sounds, Burton Bass and Full Spectrum Bristol, with an upcoming feature for The Posties Collective and Off The Track Recordings. Books were very special to me growing up, as much as music, so I like to bring them to life.

Playing out wise, I have opened for Nicky Blackmarket, won the Shape Up Sounds DJ competition with my dark/minimal blends, and I try to bring fresh energy to the scene. 

As the founder of Croakheads, a grassroots DJ collective (dedicated to creative control and injecting new ideas into drum and bass - and other genres), I am all about pushing the culture forward into new, creative and exciting, experimental directions. I feel like the scene could really do with a breath of fresh air and I want to try to encapsulate that.

With a background in orchestra, theatre, and musicals, plus playing the clarinet, flute, guitar, and singing solos/choir, my passion for music runs deep. I try to blend technical precision with raw creative expression. 

Whether behind the decks or behind an instrument, one thing is clear: I just really, really, really love music.

Using her musical knowledge and tunes collected over years of a passion for bass music, you can count on Tashphrodisiac to bring you a special selection in her mixes.
Hailing from southwest UK and spending a long time in Melbourne where she first learnt how to mix, she finds her groove with deep, dark, techy drum & bass, uk garage, bassline, 140 and occasionally psychedelic techno.
Part of the southwest/london based collective Music From The Mothership you can expect her to be bringing either her dark rolling dnb, or some bouncy but filthy UKG/140 for multi genre events.
Since deciding to get serious in 2023 she has supported the likes T>I, Aries, Nightshift, Kleu, Audiomission, Ed Solo, Phibes, Oko, Benny Page, Euphonique & Crossy at events. She has played at Boomtown and Get On festival as well as some other small festivals and her own End Of Summer Sunday Session events held in her hometown of Frome, Somerset.

Expect some dark and moody basslines with techy drums, some familiar bars from favourite UK MCs in the scene and don’t be surprised if you encounter some proper filth.
