Josephine's deep yet warm sound has been with us for several years now. Last year, at the Afterhour Sounds showcase at Kater, Arkadiusz met her and they chatted for a long time. Coincidentally, she also performed at her friends' showcase from Istanbul that evening at the Hopper floor. He decided to invite her to our series without further ado, as she plays a sound that we rarely have, yet still carries the typical, and above all, original Afterhour Sounds deep down. But enough words now. Turn on the music, turn off the world.

Some sets are just perfect from the start and some are more difficult for so many reasons. If it's how much i sleept to the technical conditions, the weather, the vibe and many reasons more. Nation of Gondwana has a very special place in our hearts. It’s not only the first festival Caleesi ever went to - it’s also a long-standing institution for the German rave scene for almost 30 years now. We love all the traditions this festival upholds - from the famous rainbow under the fire department’s fountain of water, the Grünefeld women’s choir opening the festival at Seebühne, or Sven Dohse’s traditional closing track “Die Kugel Rollt” on Wiese….we’re humbled and touched to have the honour of playing the closing set of the Afterhour in beautiful Spelunke. Thank you for the trust <3

And lastly, thank you to you, the ravers, for being with us on a 5.5 hour journey through the rain. It truly moves us to see all your faces smiling with eyes closed, swaying to the music and letting the sound take you away. Here’s the recording of a rainy morning in an enchanted forest.
