Session 7 - Tuesday, May 12, 2020

We invite anybody to join us. Even if isolated and scattered across space, we practice a collective telepathic movement for half an hour, moving in different places at the same time, with no proof of presence and no need to visualize each-other as 2D images (no live stream, no zoom, no recording). Telepathic movement is, however, fully corporeal. It doesn’t happen “in the mind”, but between our bodyminds manipulating and moving together (in) the material of space-time.There is no predetermined movement pattern but a shared choreography taking shape as we move, thinking-moving with eachother, imagining-feeling each-other across space. 
We announce each session in advance and link a playlist on that day, to share the same sound environment and react to the same rhythms. At the announced date and time, wherever you are, you can press play and move with us 🍀
The practice came up in response to the physical distancing, spatial confinement and isolation triggered by the coronavirus pandemic. We want to discourage giving into the immediate, market-driven demand to turn any art medium, form of encounter, learning, exchange or practice into a flat online experience. We were supposed to flatten a curve not our already impaired apparatus of making sense of the world. We understand the need to use available mediums to maintain community and do basic communication during the pandemics. But we're already overflooded with digital content and shouldn't forget the stifling effects of for-profit information technologies. We also don’t need to give up on expanding our thinking-feeling and imagination. We're not interested in numbers and don't count how many of you will join. We offer our commitment (which you have to trust) that we will move and imagine-feel others moving with us at a given time. It would be great to know others will be moving with us and imagine-feel us. This is an invitation that doesn't require a quantifiable response.
