Fun Fun Mix 24 - Mamacita - Ansiedad Mix

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Viktoria Jauregui, dj y productora de la ciudad de La Plata, Argentina. Es co-fundadora y dj residente en el ciclo underground platense Etérea Cadencia. Sus sets revelan un relato musical integrado por diferentes bases rítmicas y melodías inspiradoras. Con un principio, un desarrollo y un fin, Viktoria intenta crear una crónica eurítmica para sus oyentes. 

For the 26th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Viktoria Jauregui, dj and producer from the city of La Plata, Argentina. She is co-founder and resident dj at Etérea Cadencia, the "platense" underground party. Her sets reveal a musical tale made up of different rhythmic beats and inspiring melodies. With a beginning, a middle and an end, Viktoria tries to create an eurythmic chronicle for her listeners.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a los djs Víctor Rodríguez & Perfect Lovers, fundadores de la fiesta queer y colectivo de djs Por Detroit con base en Los Angeles y 
ciudad de México, una fiesta con carga política y social que es igualmente conocida por su curaduría musical como por sus espacios poco convencionales. Ambos dirigen el sello discográfico Muy Muy Limited, que se centra en gran medida (pero no exclusivamente) en artistas latinoamericanos. Con este mix queda demostrado su amor por la música disco, el house, el soul y raras gemas solo editadas en vinilo. 

For the 28th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present djs Victor Rodriguez & Perfect Lovers,  founders of L.A. and Mexico City's queer warehouse party and dj collective PorDetroit, a politically and socially charged party that is equally known for its musical curation as it is for their unconventional spaces. They both run Muy Muy Limited record label, which focuses heavily (but not exlusively) on Latin American artitsts.  In this mix they showcase their love for disco, house, soul, and rare vinyl only releases.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Camila Isabel, dj de Buenos Aires activa desde el 2015. Credora de MISSA, una fiesta inclusiva que conecta los distintos ambientes del under porteño. Sus sets se caracterizan por estar cargados de energía fusionando house, beats rotos, percusiones tribales, acid y Detroit techno. Ultimamente lleva adelante el ciclo de streamings "Cuanto Falta?" junto a dj Bond, que puede verse por su canal de YouTube.

For the 30th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Camila Isabel, dj from Buenos Aires active since 2015. She is the creator of MISSA, an inclusive party that connects the different scenes of Buenos Aires underground. Her dj sets are always energetic, fusing house, broken beats, tribal percussions, acid and Detroit techno. Currently she hosts the streaming platform "Cuanto Falta?" along with dj Bond, which can be seen on its YouTube channel.

En los últimos tiempos ha pasado por las cabinas porteñas de Dengue Dancing, Espacio Ro, las míticas fiestas de la señora Ros y fiestas callejeras del activismo. Actualmente está comenzando a organizar un ciclo de fiestas que se llamarán "Rizoma" y tomando clases de producción musical. For the 32nd. entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Invertida, alias under which Violeta Alegre, dj and trans activist from Buenos Aires, is known. In recent times she has played at Buenos Aires venues such as Dengue Dancing, Espacio Ro, the mythical parties of Señora Ros and activism street parties. She is currently beginning to organize a series of parties to be called "Rizoma" and taking classes in music production. En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos al dj Jacob Meehan, con este increíble mix grabado en vivo en el Zenner Club de Berlín el día de año nuevo de 2023. Después de mudarse de Chicago a Berlín en 2016, Jacob ha estado produciendo y alentando algunos de los eventos queer más queridos de su ciudad adoptiva, particularmente Buttons @radio-buttons y el Whole Festival. Su experiencia multitudinaria con la producción cultural, (ha sido anfitrión de una radio comunitaria, manager de restaurantes y de una galería de arte contemporáneo, vendedor de discos en una legendaria disquería, director de sesiones de meditación guiada y organizador de fiestas disco en un teatro porno gay), demuestran su atención al detalle para lo experiencial y lo efímero, demostrando que la creatividad está en todas partes. El tiempo de inactividad durante la pandemia le dió a Meehan la oportunidad de sumergirse más en la producción musical; Esperen nuevos lanzamientos de él en este 2023!

For the 39th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present dj Jacob Meehan, delivering this amazing mix recorded live at Zenner Club in Berlin on New Year's Day 2023. After relocating from Chicago to Berlin in 2016, Jacob has instigated some of his adopted city's most beloved queer events, particularly Buttons @radio-buttons and WHOLE Festival. His multitudinous background with cultural production - hosting community radio, managing neighborhood restaurants, operating a contemporary art gallery, selling records at a legendary record shop, leading guided meditation sessions, & throwing disco parties in a gay porn theater - inform his attention to detail for the experiential & ephemeral, proving that creativity is everywhere. The downtime of the pandemic afforded Meehan the opportunity to dive further into music production; expect new releases from him in 2023!

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos al dj y productor musical Ariel Me Llamo, tambien conocido como Demian, uno de los pilares y pioneros de la escena electronica paraguaya. A lo largo de su carrera ha desarrollado proyectos como LPZ, Sequence Club y Fin Del Mundo, que han influenciado mucho en el crecimiento y expansión de diversas formas de expresión musical en su país Paraguay; convirtiendo su obra  en legado e inspiración para muchas generaciones. Además de tocar ávidamente por todo su país, ha llevado sus sonidos por todo el mundo como Berghain, Unter, Boiler Room, Renate y varias fiestas independientes de la region. Ha publicado sus producciones en sellos como Aeon & Counterchange; junto con colaboraciones creativas con artistas de todo el mundo. Actualmente dirige la discoteca Tango en Asunción, orientada a la música techno/house, y también forma parte de proyectos como el ecléctico In between Label y la banda de latin-pop Yukka, Ademas produce hip hop y house en sus proyectos paralelos como B.H.S y Demian, pseudonimo con el cual firmó su remix de "Nuestra Forma" para Djs Pareja y Lupe. For the 40th. entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present dj and music producer Ariel Me Llamo, also known as Demian, one of the pillars and pioneers of the Paraguayan electronic scene. Throughout his career he has developed projects such as LPZ, Sequence Club and Fin Del Mundo, which have greatly influenced the growth and expansion of various forms of musical expression in his country Paraguay; turning his work into a legacy and inspiration for many generations. In addition to playing avidly across his country, he has taken his sounds all over the world including Berghain, Unter, Boiler Room, Renate and various independent parties in the region. En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Marti Death, dj y musicalizadora nacida en Córdoba Capital. Con un extenso background musical, comenzó como dj en el año 2012 poniendo música en clubes de la noche cordobesa y sus alrededores. Fue de las primeras selectoras en el mítico Club Belle Epoque, el cual le dio la libertad de ahondar en los géneros que más le gustan, manteniendo siempre así el eclecticismo que la caracteriza. Su salto al house y sus variantes fue por su fanatismo a la música inglesa y la cultura madchester que devino inevitablemente en querer conocer la pista de baile. Obsesiva de la música desde siempre y con esa esencia D.I.Y arraigada, sus selectas musicales tienen mucho de synth, new wave, electro, bleep, UK garage, breakbeat, sonidos baleáricos, pasando también por el jackin, dubby house y lo deep, donde el groove siempre tiene el mayor protagonismo. Hoy en día, es la dj residente de Los Pasos Prohibidos @los-pasos-prohibidos (Córdoba), teniendo la oportunidad de compartir cabina con artistas nacionales e internacionales con quienes no solo la unen los gustos musicales sino también el amor por la cultura clubber.

For the 42nd. entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Marti Death, dj and selector born in Córdoba Capital. With an extensive musical background, she began as a dj in 2012 playing in clubs in Cordoba and its surroundings. She was one of the first selectors in the legendary Club Belle Epoque, which gave her the freedom to delve into the styles she likes the most, thus always maintaining the eclecticism that characterizes her. Her jump into house and its variants was due to her fanaticism of music made in the UK and the Madchester culture that inevitably led her to wanting to know the dance floor. En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Mystery Friend, dj de la zona oeste de Buenos Aires, fundador de Fusion Dance, fiesta y ciclo mensual de radio el cual enfoca diversos géneros orientados a las raíces y a los nuevos sonidos de la música electrónica. Su búsqueda y selección profundiza en los orígenes de la música House, Techno & Synthpop, reviviendo la nostalgia de los clubes de los 80’s y principios de los 90’s, incorporando la frescura de la nueva generación. Su sonido energiza el ambiente generando un movimiento constante en la pista de baile, donde la sensualidad, el gueto, la fantasía y el sudor van de la mano. Como productor, ha lanzado un EP (Mystery Box) y tres álbumes de edits (80’s Mystery Edits), y ademas forma parte del dúo Romance Layers con el cual ha lanzado varios singles y dos EP’s.

For the 43rd. entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Mystery Friend, dj from the western area of Buenos Aires, founder of Fusion Dance, party and monthly radio show which focuses on various genres oriented to the roots and the new sounds of electronic music. His search and selection delves into the origins of House, Techno & Synthpop music, reviving the nostalgia of the 80's and early 90's clubs, incorporating the freshness of the new generation. His sound energizes the environment, generating constant movement on the dance floor, where sensuality, ghetto, fantasy and sweat go hand in hand. As a producer, he has released one EP (Mystery Box) and three albums of edits (80's Mystery Edits), and he is also part of the duo Romance Layers with which he has released several singles and two EP's.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Pepe G, el proyecto musical de José Pablo González, dj de Santiago de Chile de 23 años. Aprendió a disjockear en 2021 y ha tocado en diferentes fiestas del underground santiaguino desde el año pasado. Su sonido es bastante ecléctico pero con fuertes raíces en el House y el Techno, la música de los años 90 y los principios del 2000, y la música influenciada por el Reino Unido, además de tener un gran interés en reivindicar géneros como el Tech House y el Tribal. Le gusta la música que transmite emociones como la nostalgia, el romance y la euforia.

Pepe G dice: "La idea de este mix era emular un poco la energía de los dj sets que he estado tocando estos últimos meses, donde por lo general hay mucha música "teky" y tribalera, dos sonidos que he estado explorando bastante este año, y también hay una parte más adelante en el mix donde quise tocar algunos de los discos de Hardcore que he ido conociendo, el cual es un sonido que quiero indagar más en un futuro. Quedé bastante contento con el resultado y siento que el mix juega de manera muy entretenida entre momentos eufóricos y otros más introspectivos, lo cual es algo que he estado haciendo habitualmente en mis dj sets del último tiempo."

Es conocida por sus eclécticas sesiones como residente del colectivo @casalocasa y residente de Ritmica Paraiso. Principalmente, su gusto es la interpretación latina de la música electrónica, con una sólida base en el house y el disco; ambos géneros los integra en sus mezclas con dark disco, E.B.M, darkwave y hasta tintes techno, siempre dándole su toque oscuro, donde también presentan percusiones tribales en todas sus facetas. En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a KOAL, el dúo de djs binacional y mixto formado en Buenos Aires por KO y ALdo Benitez.
KO, nacida y criada en Chicago y con casi 20 años de experiencia como selector y dj. se mantiene fiel a sus raíces generando una pista de sonoridades diversas. 
El argentino ALdo Benítez, con un vasto background en la canción experimental, se suma a este diálogo B2B aportando su escucha atenta en un doble movimiento: hacia su compañera en este proyecto y hacia lxs bailarines.
KOAL debutó en vivo este año en la pista de Avant Garten, dentro del ciclo Freestyle, y este es su primer mixtape público y en exclusiva para Fun Fun. 


For the 46th. entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present KOAL, an international, co-ed DJ duo formed in Buenos Aires by KO and ALdo Benitez. KO, was born and raised in Chicago and with almost 20 years of experience as a selector and DJ. Staying true to her roots, she creates a diverse dance floor atmosphere with various related styles. 
Argentinean ALdo Benitez, with a vast background in experimental sounds, joins this B2B dialogue adding his keen listening in a double role: to his partner in this project and to the dancers. 
KOAL debuted live this year on the Avant Garten dancefloor, within the Freestyle cycle, and this is their first public mixtape in exclusive for Fun Fun.

En esta segunda entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a la dj argentina Ilsa Wolf. Conocida por su estilo ecléctico, Ilsa es una investigadora musical que se adentra en rarezas musicales. Su estética juega con transiciones malvadas y sonidos esculpidos e inesperados, enfocándose en el movimiento y desafiando los oídos de los bailarines mientras abarca diferentes períodos y géneros en la historia de la música grabada.

For the 2nd entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Argentinean dj Ilsa Wolf. Known for her eclectic music style, Ilsa is a music researcher who digs into musical rarities. Her aesthetic plays with wicked transitions and unexpected sculptured sounds, focusing into motion and challenging the ears of the dancers while spanning different periods and genres in the history of recorded music.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Ana Helder, dj y productora rosarina que desde su primer lanzamiento en 2011 por el sello Cómeme, ha realizado numerosos tours por Europa y el mundo, aterrizando en los mas prestigiosos clubes. En plena cuarentena sacó dos EPs: “Boleto 101” por la plataforma escocesa Optimo Music Digital Danceforce, y “Landpark”, su segundo trabajo para el sello Müstique. Con esto hizo otro gran aporte a su estable y firme así como creciente discografía con una profunda musicalidad y una actitud abierta a la música house, innovando el género con destellos boogie, funk y disco.

For the 12th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Ana Helder, dj and producer from Rosario, Argentina, who since her first release on Cómeme in 2011, has made numerous tours around Europe and the world, landing in the most prestigious clubs. In the middle of her quarantine she released two EPs: “Boleto 101” on the Scottish platform Optimo Music Digital Danceforce, and “Landpark”, her second EP for the german label Müstique. With all this, she has made another great contribution to her stable and firm as well as growing discography, with a deep musicality and an open attitude to house music, innovating the genre with boogie, funk and disco flashes.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Diegors,  quien ha formado parte de la escena underground de música electrónica de Santiago de Chile desde comienzos de la década del 2000. Como productor o músico en distintas bandas, ha transitado desde el ambient y la música experimental, hasta el  pop. En su faceta de dj - bajo su alias Diegors - explora las distintas músicas electrónicas de baile como el house o el techno siempre desde una perspectiva muy personal.  Desde el 2015 co-dirige el sello Discos Pato Carlos, una plataforma para los nuevos sonidos de baile latinoamericanos. 

For the 19th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Diegors, who has been part of the underground electronic music scene in Santiago de Chile since the early 2000's. As a producer or musician in different bands, he has moved from ambient and experimental music to pop. As a dj - under his alias Diegors - he explores different electronic dance music such as house or techno, always from a very personal perspective. Since 2015 he co-directs the label Discos Pato Carlos, a platform for new Latin American dance sounds.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Leeon, quien desde las frías entrañas de Bogotá ha venido consolidándose como una de las figuras clave de la escena electrónica colombiana. Ya sea desde su trabajo como curador en Video Club de Bogotá, donde ha sabido arropar a innumerables djs y artistas del circuito, pasando por su sello Ediciones Danza Negra o su residencia en el colectivo queer Bulto, Leeon no escatima en ahorrar energías para trabajar de lleno por la cultura que tanto lo apasiona. Sus potentes sets en Block9 de Glastonbury, De School, Berghain, Traición, PrEP+ y Boiler Room han dejado su impronta.

For the 20th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Leeon, who from the cold underbelly of Bogotá has been consolidating himself as one of the key figures of the Colombian electronic scene. Either from his work as a curator for Bogotá's Video Club, where he has been able to embrace innumerable djs and artists from the worldwide circuit, through his Ediciones Danza Negra label or his residency in the queer collective Bulto, Leeon does not skimp on saving energy to work hard for the culture that he is so passionate about. His powerful sets at Glastonbury's Block9, De School, Berghain, Traición, PrEP + and Boiler Room have all left their mark.

En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Rumanians, el proyecto electrónico de Ani Castoldi, dj, productora y baterista de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mitad del dúo Ibiza Pareo. Desde el 2009 co-organiza las fiestas Dengue Dancing, un clásico del under porteño, donde también es dj residente. Tanto sus producciones como sus dj sets tienen un beat housero, hipnótico y percusivo. Pone y hace temas largos, ideales para sus mezclas eternas y fluidas. Aquí una buena muestra de ello!

Since 2009 she has co-organized the Dengue Dancing parties, a classic of the under porteño, where she is also resident dj. Both her productions and her dj sets have a housy, hypnotic and percussive beat. She makes and plays long tracks, ideal for her long and fluid mixes. Here is a good example of it!
