“The opening track on Lion Charge’s 10th release is a rudely anthemic affair. Digital champions some truly triumphant horns, while an orbiting wave of low end displacement hits the chest. Spacious samples float around the steady groove and the comfortable turnover of high frequency content, making 'Dub Mammoth’ an intense dub initiation to the debut solo release on J:Kenzo’s imprint.”

“Track two, ‘Foundation’, continues to establish the EP’s quality; possibly our favourite inclusion on the release. It twists the throttle, overwhelming the listener with a roaring wave of righteous sub tension, one characteristic to this producer - making the track an ultimate system rumbler. The sub’s joined by hefty elements that are deeply rooted and stratified; revealing the depth and breadth of Digital’s recent dub explorations. ‘Foundation' contains primeval percussion that is reminiscent of the producer's notorious Drum & Bass sound...”

To celebrate his debut release with SINE Audio (LNDN Sound EP) AFR has done a silky smooth bootleg of the classic 98 track on Prototype Recordings by Matrix - Mute '98.

Since the age of 13, the elusive AFR has been honing his craft in the field of electronic music production and keeping any up to this point locked to his own ears. Influenced largely from the 90s rave sounds of techno, house and jungle, as well as non-electronic music genres like punk rock and jazz, the now 19-year old producer has allowed himself to develop his own unique style of crisp, minimal and synth-ridden drum and bass. We are honoured to be hosting his first ever release in the form of the remarkable ‘LNDN Sound EP’.
